Overall ambience and decor. The bedroom was very pleasant with dual aspect windows overlooking the river and bridge. Breakfast was good. Reception was un-manned upon arrival at approx 19:00. Rang the number provided numerous times although no answer. Had to wait for almost 20 minutes before we could check in.

La situation au bord de l'Aare Chambre bruyante avec le train à proximité, pas de wifi dans les chambres, tv minuscule, chambre insuffisamment chauffée, petit déjeuner spartiate sans salade de fruits et une seule sorte de pain, personnel pas trop accueillant à la réception et au restaurant

Freundliche Zimmer, kein Schnickschnack Die nichtschliessenden Glastüren zwischen Toilette und Zimmer sind wirklich problematisch. Aufs wc gehen möchte man ja vielleicht wirklich allein und da bringt eine, zwar schöne, Türe die einen Spalt von ungefähr 5 cm hat gar nichts. Ich gehe davon aus, dass da der Einrichter überfordert war und der der das Gebäude abgenommen hat, das nicht beachtete. Uns ist das bis anhin in allen schon benutzten Zimmer des Hotels störend aufgefallen.

Originell, gelungene Mischung von sehr alt und sehr modern. Schöner Blick auf Aare und die Stadt. Insektennetz vor den Fenstern stört dabei nur wenig. Gutes Zmorge. Zuvorkommendes Personal.Früchteschale. Im Badzimmer zuwenig Kleiderhaken.

Das Gratis Internet war Super. Es ist eher selten, dass sowas so problemlos funktioniert. Die Lage war wunderschön, direkt an der Aare.

Das alte Gebäude hat einen besonderen Charme und wurde mit modernen Klassikern wunderbar ausstaffiert. Die Farben im Haus sind sehr angenehm und machen gute Laune. Der Sanitärblock ist zwar perfekt ausgestattet, bietet aber für unseren Geschmack zuwenig Privatheit, auch - oder gerade! - für ein "altgedientes" Ehepaar. Die Türe zur Toilette sollte ganz geschlossen werden können. Auch die Glaswände irritieren. Manchmal möchte man einfach ganz ungestört sein...

die Verbindung alt (-ehrwürdig, denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude) und neu (Einrichtung) keine Möglichkeit, Wasser zu beziehen wenn die Reception nicht besetzt ist.

Lage ist super. Die Betten sind für zwei Personen viel zu schmal. Ausserdem fallen sie in der mitte durch. Dadurch haben wir sehr schlecht geschlafen.

après quelques séjours dans cet hotel, je m'y sene bien et ai l'impression d'être chez moi.. Il y a un minimum de personnel pour la partie hotel, mais c'est tout à faif sufisant. La proximité de l'Aar me plait beaucoup ainsi que la vue depuis l'hotel, sur le Weissenstein et les bâtiments qui se réflètent dans le fleuve; j'hésite à changer mon fond d'écran avec la photo que j'ai prise depuis la chambre 208.
