There was a hiccup in my reservations and the Front Desk Manager (Linda) handled the matter professionally so that in the end both parties had a happy compromise. Thank you Linda. Daniel
Nice small studio flat with all requirements in kitchen. Nice balcony with view. Gym looked good though we didn't use it.
Pillows too soft No micorwave in flat
Car Parking View Room space and kitchen Staff
A little expensive Not clear sign for hotel location
Great location, clean, plenty of restaurant options. The staff was amazing. Helpful, kind and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Grindelwald.
That we only stayed one evening.
Acommodation was in a Swiss Chalet Apartment and was very clean and huge. Fantastic location in the middle of Grindelwald
Having to pay car parking
First visited Eiger Apartments 20 odd years ago. Bathroom and kitchen areas have not been renovated during this time and it shows! Very poor!
Great location in centre of main town a few minutes walk to train station and First gondola. Spacious and comfortable apartment
Central location, spacious room and bathroom.
A microwave oven in the kitchen would be a great addition. Kitchen a bit old.
Two bedroom apartments have one bedroom as bunkbeds.
Town was good for accessing trains and buses. Restaurant was good with friendly staff.
Lots of building work going on in the town. Views were restricted. Surrounded by other hotels. Accommodation of a disappointingly poor standard. We stayed in the back section away from the street. NOT like photos! Accommodation overpriced and in need of decoration and redesign. Very shabby. Like a poor standard old people's home but worse. Toilet needed fixing. Poor lighting everywhere especially bathroom. Only had a tiny light above mirror! No change of towels or linen or making beds all week. Pillows were awfully thin. Noisy nights. Walls very thin. Could hear everyone. Woken in the early hours each night by people walking about in rooms above us.
Internet all over the place
The price is high little bit
Good location, still limited view
Not very warm arrival experience, robotic service at reception
Good position ,nice deck great view
Staff, especially Melanie were super helpful and friendly. VERY clean and good facilities.
The apartment is nearby train station and supermarket. It is easy to locate. The flat is big and equipped with oven, refrigerator, electric kettle and housewares etc. Washing machine and dryer are also available.
Lighting in the sitting area is not enough.
The house came reasonably equipped with a lot of towels etc. which was very convenient. Location is in the center of town, very easy to go anywhere. Restaurant Barry in the main hotel was very good. No need to go around town for that!
A few coffee pods and dishwashing machine tablets to start with would have helped. It saves you from running to the shop right upon arrival. While the restaurants on the first floor of the hotel are great the bistro at street level is not that great. We were expecting the same standard but were dissapointed.
Front-desk staff were excellent: friendly and helpful; location is great - short walk to Grindelwald-First lift and train station; nice spa that was included. Restaurant was also good. Very nice stay.
No negatives. A little pricey but this is Grindelwald, Switzerland...
Excellent staff. Great location. The hotel property was very well maintained. The Chalet was spacious giving us room to spread out.
We stayed in a 2 Bedroom chalet that was spacious but in poor condition. The dryer was broken, the bathroom sink faucet leaked, carpet was stained and it smelled awful when we arrived. The adjacent hotel property was much nicer.
best staff i have ever seen. nice, informative
The staff was extremely friendly and had lots of knowledge about things to do around Grindelwald. The location was great--walking distance to everything in the village--next to a grocery, bakery and near to the gondolas. We didn't need our car after our arrival.
The beds were hard and the pillows too soft. The apartment was a bit dated, but had most of what we needed.
Everything was great. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse we stayed in was perfect and very comfortable with amazing views. Vicinity to station and gondola lift was really helpful for our travel with small children.
Nothing. Everything was simply perfect.
The Studio Apartment gave us space, flexibility and independence at a very reasonable rate.
Getting from the car park into the hotel could have been better signed. Wi fi in the room would have been good.
Location & food
Hard to get in the apartment too much heel. Our 2 apartments were very old run down and they were renovating common area
location & Parking facility.
apartments were really far behind the hotel reception. there was no wi fi in one of the block. staff suggested to go to lobby. long distance to the hotel reception.
