The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town so access to shops and facilities is easy. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and spoke reasonable English. The room was spacious and well appointed and cleaning staff attended on a daily basis. Breakfast was quite good with a range of continental type foods available. No evening meals were provided but there are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. A free internet connection is available in the 'business area'. There is no parking near the hotel if you have a car, unless to want to pay 17 Swiss Francs each day for street parking round the back. (However, this area is free from Friday evening to Monday at 7.00am) A minor irritation was that they make a charge for wi-fi. No other hotel we stayed at in the country did this. As with everything in Switzerland, and especially Bern, everything is very expensive, about half as much again as in the UK.

Last year we (3 friends) stayed in this hotel on our way to Italy. This year again we booked a 3 p. room. It happened to be newly renovated and in stead of three beds there now were two and a 1p. sofa which was supposed to be the third bed with an uncomfortable hard surface and a gap between the cushions. At night there was no one present in the building to help us get an extra matress. Next morning the lady at the reception called the boss who was not helpfull or in any way interested in our discomfort. So we had no choise but to pay the full SF 185,- for a 2(3?) p. room. Tip: Never book a room here if you expect to be treated as a paying guest and do not expect three beds when you book a 3 p. room!

Localisation, price, staff at the desk very nice and fast. Romm clean, comfortable Room and bathroom very small breakfast buffet rather poor. Only industrial products (except bread)

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. 10 minutes walking distance to the train station was a major plus point for my stay. I would definately stay there again whether for business or pleasure.

The staff were friendly and very helpful and served a great breakfast. This is one of the largest room we have had on this trip. Good location, just about 4 blocks uphill from the main train station in the University area.. Very expensive but that is Switzerland!

Zelo lepo urejene in čiste sobe, prijazno osebje, računalnik z internetom pri recepciji. Hotel je tudi dovolj blizu železniške postaje (dostopen tudi peš).

Das Hotel lag perfekt für unseren Zweck. Das Hotel in einer Seitenstrasse in einem alten Stadtquartier bei der Universität ist schlicht, elegant und zweckmässig renoviert. Es bietet alles, was es für eine Übernachtung braucht und liegt sehr ruhig..

写真で見たままの白と赤が美しい部屋でした。 とても広く、開放感があって快適でした。 また、TVからラジオ(音楽)が聞けて心地よく過ごせました。 備え付けのサボンが良い香りでした。 朝食付きの点もよかったです。ジャムの種類が多くパンも４種類あり、 とても楽しい時間でした。 大通りから少し離れているためか夜静かでした。 欲を言えば、浴室に浴槽が欲しかったです。

Très bon rapport qualité-prix, déco sympa et moderne dans les chambres, petit-déjeuner tout à fait correct et bonne situation proche du centre et de la gare de Berne. On a aimé le petit canard en plastique dans la salle de bain :-) Les oreillers passablement dégonflés

Gute Lage in nettem Viertel nähe hb, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Ruhe, Sauberkeit, sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die renovierten Zimmer sind grosszügig und sehr angenehm ausgestattet. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Automatischer Lichtsensor beim Eingang. Frühstück könnte etwas besser sein.

La proprete de l'hotel, de la chambre est extra. Petit dejeuner buffet simple mais tres bien pour un groupe d'ado. Tres proche du centre a 5-6 minutes à pied. L'idee de pouvoir parquer sur une zone bleu dans les alentours de l'hotel pour 24 heures ch.17.00 N'est pas des plus pratique.

Ottima posizione vicinissima alla stazione e al centro della città. Camera molto spaziosa, accogliente, ben arredata. Pulitissimo Colazione decisamente scarsa.
