We had a room of good size with a balcony and excellent view of Lake Maggiore. The food was of high quality, very varied and accompanied by friendly service. The price was good value and to be honest having read other reviews, the hotel was far better than we expected. |

The view from the parking lot. Other than that, I can only make negative comments: far, far too expensive for what it is, unfriendly, unhelpful staff who were, at times, downright aggressive, furnishings and decor from the 50's, impossible to find even using satellite navigation. The view of the lake from the parking lot was nice. Everything else was horrendous. Do not stay at this hotel. It is a waste of (a lot of) money, to be served by unfriendly, unhelpful staff, in an ambiance which is not suited to current hotel standards (yes, I am aware that it is not a 5-star ... nonetheless there is a basic level of 'can-do' attitude which is reasonable to expect). |

View from the breakfast room and the swimming pool. Would be better if staff did not assume that every guest is German and understands German language. Receptionist did not speak Italian nor French on arrival. |

La vue sur le lac excellente, magnifique ! Design de la chambre agréable et moderne. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec vue sur le lac et les collines superbe, je reviendrai ! a recommander. L'hotel dispose également d'une piscine. Petit détail, le personne qui nous parle en suisse-allemand... J'aurais préféré l'italien, étant au tessin. Lhotel n'est pas non plus très bien desservi par les transports en communs, un bus qui passe toutes les heures ou demi-heure env. (Dépend de l'heure) |

Das Hotel Arancio ist sehr schön am Hang über dem Lago Maggiore gelegen und bietet sowohl von den kleinen Balkons der Zimmer zur Seeseite, als auch von der Terrasse und der Poolanlage einen herrlichen Blick über den See. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein und mit dunklen, unmodernen Möbeln eingerichtet, die den Raum optisch noch verkleinern. Das Badezimmer ist so winzig, dass ein Mensch mit einer Körpergrösse von über ca.180 cm Probleme hat, die Toilette oder die Badewanne zu benutzten. Der Service war eher kühl und durch eine Mitarbeiterin offen unfreundlich. Das Frühstück ist dem Zimmerpreis nicht angemessen. |
