Marvellous location, breathtaking views on Lago Maggiore and the Brisaggo Islands with the Alps in the background, both from the rooms, restaurant and pool area. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast buffet is very good, although less choice than in other hotels, but top quality (cold cuts, local cheese, mueslis, yogurts, fresh loacl bread, croissants, selection of home-made jams etc. As the hotel is built on a cliff above the main road towards Brisaggo, Italy it is a bit noisy when the windows are open, and since there's no aircon, you tend to keep them open on summer nights. Lots of wasps on the terrace restaurant and the pool area, watch out.

Wunderschöne Lage oberhalb des Lago Maggiore nahe Ascona. Ziemlich kleines, aber sehr hübsches Zimmer mit wunderbarem Blick auf den See. Ruhig gelegen, genügend Parkplätze. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wären Zimmer und auch Badezimmer etwas zu klein.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, Ascona-Promenade zu Fuss erreichbar durch Wohngebiet, Aussicht, schöne Terrasse. Die Zimmer waren wegen schlecht abgedichteten Türen vom Gang her sehr ringhörig. Strassenlärm auf der Terrasse.

Fantastische Aussicht, zuvorkommendes Personal. Übler Zahnarztgeruch auf dem Flur, Einrichtung des Zimmers teilerneuert- im Ergebniss wirkt es auf uns aber billig und weniger als beim letzten Besuch vor ein paar Jahren. Die Badezimmer Einrichtung ist seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr erneuert worden, eng, und ohne spürbare Belüftung.Das Zusatzbett verdient nur die Bezeichnung Feldliege. Preis/Leistungsverhältiss absolut unterdurchnittlich.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Essen war auch gut. Wir hatten bei der Buchung leider nicht gemerkt, dass es hiess: Doppelzimmer mit Seesicht. Wir dachten, dass wir einen Balkon haben. Die Seesicht war super schön. Das Zimmer war etwas klein und leider hatte es auch keine Mini-Bar.

Der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service der Mitarbeiter und die Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine gut befahrene Strasse, welche das eine oder andere Mal zu hören war.

Der direkte Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Das sehr freundliche Personal. Doppelzimmer hat die max. Größe eines Einzelzimmers. Der kleine Fernseher.Der Strassenverkehrs-Lärm durch die Hauptverkehrsstrasse unmittelbar unter dem Hotel.

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Langensee. Beim Frühstück fragte ich (als Milcheiweiss-Allergikerin) nach Eiern zu Aufpreis. Die Angestellte hörte mir nicht richtig zu oder verstand mich nicht, denn sie schickte mich mit dem Problem zur Rezeption, sie könne das nicht beantworten. Nachträglich sah ich die Eier ganz am Ende des Buffets, da war es leider schon zu spät.

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Lage des Hotels mit Swimming-Pool. Esssaal mit Blick über den Lago Maggiore Dunkles Nord Zimmer da an Wald-/Felswand. Preis zu hoch für dieses Zimmer.

Balcon avec vue superbe sur le lac . Buffet petit déjeuner. Propreté de l'Etablissement. Bel emplacement de la piscine. Parking a disposition. Dommage pour un si beau cadre, l 'abscence d'un restaurant gastronomique avec une carte appropriée....Seul un menu imposé avec réservation ns était proposé....

“The location is excellent. The hotel is located less than 5 minute walk from the town center. This way there is no need to look for parking when going to town(you can leave the car conveniently parked at the hotel), and once you come back you are guaranteed absolute quiet. The room was spacious, clean and had an amazing view. The included breakfast was exquisite, and was served on a terrace offering a breathtaking view of the region. The staff was very friendly and always looked after us, which was really helpful since we were traveling with our month and a half old son.
