Albergo Stella    

Very friendly host - gave helpful recommendations and was attentive to our needs. The room was good and the breakfast was subperb. Location is excellent too - less than 3 mins walk from the train station.

We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. A ten minute walk leads to the Parco Del Tassino with great views of the lake and the mountains that ring it. The hotel was very comfortable. It is a small hotel, where you can see the same people every morning at breakfast. Breakfast consisted of excellent coffee, freshly baked bread, and a reasonable variety of cereal, yogurt, preserves, orange juice, etc. The art scattered through the guest and public rooms adds something very pleasing to experience of staying at the hotel. The hosts/proprietors were helpful and very friendly. The wifi worked very well, and the television offered very diverse programming, with quite a few channels in English.

People coming in later in the evening resulting in some noise. While the bathroom was well-equipped and clean, it was about the smallest possible room that could hold a shower, sink, and toilet.

Small hotel with very good service and nice rooms. Central location near the railwaystation, but without disturbing noice. Side road with little traffic. Simple but tasteful breakfast. Only 5 min walk to the city center. Lovely nature around the city.

Nothing I didn't like

Great location, beautiful artwork, dining room and garden patio. Clean, efficient. Owners are very client focused, have a wonderful breakfast each morning and are very friendly and helpful with tourists.

L accueil , l emplacement la qualité de la literie le petit déjeuner le personnel parle bien français et vous donne de bons conseil pour votre séjour

La salle de bain Mais pour une nuit ou deux ça va

L'albego e' vermanete molto bello e accogliente. E' vicino alla stazione centrale di Lugano ma ben situato in una via tranquilla per cui non e' molto rumoroso. Lo staff e' molto gentile. La colazione e' anche un punto molto a favore essendo d'avvero diversa e molto piu' buona rispetto a quello a cui si e' abituati nel gran parte degli alberghi.

La posizione della mia camera che era allo stesso piano della reseption e davanti alla cucina.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im neu eröffneten Stella. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, jedoch sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet, die Terrasse war dafür umso grosszügiger. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Accueil tres chaleureux et attentionné.l'hotel est une villa particuliere transformée en hotel avec beaucoup de charme. Petit-dejeuner excellent,tres varié et servi dans un tres beau cadre et avec des jolie vaisselles,joli vu sur une arrière terass, doit être super quand il fait beau.

Il manque un endroit commun (lobby) pour s'assoir le soir a part la salle a manger et la chambre.

Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Es war sauber und das Frühstück gut.

Freundlicher Empfang durch den Chef persönlich. Nettes, sauberes Zimmer mit guten Betten, Badezimmer ebenfalls funktionell. Lage: Nur wenige Meter vom SBB-Bahnhof entfern und via Gleis 4 problemlos erreichbar.

Heller freundlicher Frühstücksraum mit Garten. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit einheimischen Spezialitäten.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht im Albergo Stella. Es war sehr gastfreundlich und gemütlich. Dies ist "unsere" Adresse in Lugano. Sind sicher wieder einmal zu Gast! Herzlichen Dank

Albergo Stella hat uns positiv überrascht. Von Daniel Hahne wurden wir freundlich in Empfang genommen und betreut. Das Zimmer war sauber und angenehm, ruhig, mit grossem Balkon gartenseitig. Strahlend weiss und sauber war das kleine Badezimmer (uns war aber die Sauberkeit wichtiger als die Grösse). Das Frühstück setzt auf Qualität... wir schwärmen immer noch von diesem einmaligen Bauernbrot, das Daniel Hahne in der Früh aufbäckt. Nettes Personal, nette Einrichtung, nettes Ambiante... und wirklich gleich neben dem Bahnhof. Wenn wir in Lugano sind, kommen wir gerne wieder!
