Art Deco Hotel Montana  

I visited this hotel in 2008 and liked it for its ambience and grand decor. The view from rooms facing lake is like picture Post Card. Of course you have to pay price for this luxury. Hotel is centrally located.

We really didn't like that the room floor was always dirty, keep in mind that we stayed with a one year old child! Oh and when our child spilled juice on the bed and that happens with a one year old child the hotel charged us extra 500 chf for the matrass without asking us what happened and letting us know that they actually replaced the matrass and throughout that one away. As I know fruit juice can be easily cleaned at dry cleaners and there is no need to throw the matrass away!!!!! And dry cleaners cost less then to buy the new matrass!

As always, on our way back home from italy, we stayed a night in the Montana hotel. As always, everything was impeccable. And the bar Louis is a special treat in his own.

We stayed at the lake view room on the fifth floor and enjoyed the panorama view from the terrace in the room. It deserves the hotel fee. The Montana is located at higher places than the five star hotels. So you can see the Pilatus and Rigi from dawn to dusk. Of cause the Lucerne night view is under your nose. There is nothing better than this.

The only problem we had was temperature. There is no air conditioner other than a fan. The hotel signboard attracts mosquitos. So they recommended not to open windows until late at night when the signboard lights went off. It made us insomnia. Please equip a screen door to open the windows. And please provide more information about a room because the room has two types of bath room, one with a shower only and another with a bathtub only.

Superb room in an outstanding hotel in a stunning location. The view over Lake Lucerne was breathtaking. 10/10 in every aspect.

Excellent, attentive staff. Breath-taking views. Outstanding breakfast. We had a lake-view room, and it was fabulous. The hotel's design and service are first-rate. We would stay there again.

The lack of air cobditionbg is deplorable, because zhen you open the window on a hoit as itwas sunday, you get the cigar fumes from the bar terrace below' at ths price there must be a/c!!!!!

A dissapointment that booking.com misrepresented the quality of the hotel so badly.

freundlichkeit, service der mitarbeiter, sauberkeit, preis-leistungsverhältnis okay, qualität des essens, ruhige atmosphäre, einrichtung,

hat rundherum alles gepasst, schwimmbad, bzw wellnessbereich wäre noch schön;

uns haben der wunderbare, zuvorkommende service, die netten mitarbeiter, die tolle einrichtung, die schöne bar gefallen, wir sind bereits zum dritten mal zu gast gewesen und kommen bald wieder.

es wäre schön, wenn es in der junior suite ebenfalls eine nespresso maschine hätte.

Die Betten waren eine Zumutung. 2 Einzelbetten auf Rollen wurden nebeneinander gestellt. Der Graben dazwischen wurde immer grösser und zerstörte jegliche Romantik. So etwas kenne ich nur von billigen Touristenhotels.

J'ai téléphoné quelques jours avant mon arrivée pour demander une chambre de catégorie supérieure, en acceptant un supplément de prix, le cas échéant. A mon arrivée, on m'avait réservé les deux chambres supérieures que j'avais demandées, et cela sans supplément de prix. Le personnel à la réception et au restaurant est vraiment aimable et compétent. La situation de l'hôtel, avec son funiculaire privé, et la vue sur le lac et les montagnes, sont magnifiques.
