Fantastic view (probably the best in Luzern) from restaurant and most rooms, very friendly staff, absolutely wonderful buffet breakfast. Very nice bathtub in the room. The "funiculaire" (small telepherique) that takes you up to the hotel from street level is very cute and useful. These are minor points complared to the advantages that this hotel offers to the visitor, but the wash basin in the bathroom is a bit small and water gets splashed everywhere; one of the two duvet covers in the bedroom was ripped. |

I was upgraded without asking. The staff spent a lot of time making sure my first visit to the city was really enjoyable; and, the breakfeast was spectacular. The might want to advertise the hill lift on one side of the hotel to preclude the need to walk up the steep hill on the other side. (as I did) |

This hotel is all that an international four star hotel should be - and seldom is! Very efficient and friendly staff at Reception and in the Restaurant. Good selection of well prepared and presented dishes. I can't find anything to criticize. |

We stayed at this hotel last year and were happy to return. We love the Art Deco design features and wonderful views from the dining room and terrace. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. Can't understand why it isn't in a 5 star category. |

We were very pleased with the beautiful corner room with balcony looking out to the Lake. The room was wonderfully furnished with a large well equipped bathroom. The included breakfast was both generous and delicious. The art deco decor is especially nice. |

The view of the lake from the terrace, where breakfast was served in clement weather, and the view from my balcony in my room - exquisite, magnificent. Also live music mostly every evening in the bar. Jazz Some may not like the fact that you must take a funicular up and down and it is a slight walk to the centre but this not bother me - I loved being so high up your view of the lake was made even more spectacular. |

Die Einrichtung, Aussicht, grosse Badewanne, schönes Badezimmer, tolles Frühstück, dass die Bettwäsche zurückgeschlagen wurde, die Literatur im Zimmer. (Hab vergessen zu fragen, ob man das Heft über die Schweiz auch bei Ihnen kaufen kann!!! |

Situation idéale : pour la vue et la prosmiscuité de la ville. Visites à pieds et lac tout prés.gentilesse du personnel et décoration de l'hotel;restaurant de bonne qualité et bon rapport qualité prix.h^tel à recommander Systéme de lumière dans la chambre pas trés bien étudié, et pas de prise électrique au niveau du bar, là où se trouve la bouilloire?? Petits détails il est vrai mais qui sont bien pratiques. Où pauser les valises?? |

Da ich am Lucerne-Marathon teilgenommen habe, war für uns die Lage ideal. Das Ambiente war ausgezeichnet. Es gab leider kein Late-Check-Out. So musste ich noch einen Drittel des Zimmerpreises als Aufpreis zahlen. |

Le restaurant Scala propose des mets superbes avec un service impeccable. La vue sur le lac depuis notre chambre incroyable. Une salle de bain avec une baignoire positionnée sur le lac juste parfait. A recommander pour week-end en amoureux. Pour un 4 étoiles, le service est parfait. J'ai beau cherché, rien. |

La situation de l'hôtel et le panorama des chambres avec vue sur le lac sont exceptionnels. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter Lucerne, et pour profiter des environs du Lac des Quatre cantons. Je séjourne souvent dans cet hôtel, et j'ai trouvé cette fois que le personnel d'étage était moins aimable. Même pas un bonjour au client ! Mais à la réception et au restaurant, le personnel était très aimable et compétent. |

Ligging,service ,keuken, bedden en beddengoed uitstekend! één klein wastafeltje (ook zelfs in de door ons een nacht extra bijgeboekte luxe kamer ) was onhandig.Geen airco , zal in de zomer niet prettig zijn!Daarom waarschijnlijk geen 5* anders zouden ze deze 5e ster zeker verdienen. |

Das Ambiente im Hotel mit der Architektur,die Einrichtung & Aufteilung der Räumichkeiten sind sehr geschmackvoll & bieten für den Gast ein Erlebnis der Sinne. Zudem liegt das Hotel sehr ideal auf einer kleinen Anhöhe.Das Panorama dass sich durch diesen Vorteil bietet ist unvergleichlich in der Stadt & einfach herrlich. Zusätzlich ist es auch sehr ruhig gelegen & wird von keinem Strassenlärm gestört. Die späte Check-In Zeit war nicht ganz ideal. Ein Vorteil ist allerdings, dass man sein Gepäck schon vorher bei der Rezeption deponieren kann. |
