Entirely renovated in 2012, The Hotel N’vY Manotel is just 320 yards from the banks of Lake Geneva and a 15-minute walk from the center and the UN.
Score from 1123 reviews Excellent
Location not easy to access on foot from train station, though that is more a reflection of. Geneva's eclectic street layout ...
very friendly staff spacious, nicely furnished, modern, clean rooms
shower head (functionality suffers badly from design)
Everything was really good. 100% better than the 4*hotel we stayed in Paris. Never judge a book by it's cover!
Friendly staff, excellent location, good value for money
Front desk manager was kind to make early check-in for us. Staff personal is very gentle.
Double bed was a true double bed, nice bathroom although vanity was a bit worn, lift available, Nescafé coffee maker, proximity to the team in one direction and the lake in the other. Only 10 minutes from the train station. Overall good find for the price in Geneva. There was a three night offer which made it even more appealing.
Strange splatter marks on the ceiling, shower design meant water sprayed through the bathroom
We liked hotel so much that we rebooked it for another night stay at the end of our trip. Considering how expensove Switzerland is this hotel was a steal. It is a block away from #15 train stop and within walking distance or 2 stops on the #15 to the main train station. Also a less than 10 minute walk to the water and plenty of eateries. The hotel staff was well informed and pleasant-particularly the young man with the glasses who works early evening and late night shift! The breakfast buffet is a deal (be sure to book it online to lock in the 10fr rate). For 10 fr you get all you can eat breakfast consisting of yougurts, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, croissants, jams, nutella tea etc. The hot food was ok but limited and not the best eggs, bacon, sausages. The rooms were clean and spacious for two (as we received a complimentary upgrade to an executive suite) and the beds comfortable.
The shower is constructed in such a way that the partial glass allows a considerable amount of water to escape and wet the bathroom floor. The elevator is tiny and can hold two adults with luggage max (but I guess that's the European way). Our view was facing scaffolding on the back side of the building and I don't think the back patio was open for use.
Very close to the lake. Mehmut was a great help and gave us great advice. Thank you
Not much to say.
everything is prefect
the breakfast menu was inadequate and overpriced.
Airy and open. The windows open properly which is a big plus. The location was good for where I needed to be. Great stay.
Nothing. Everything was most acceptable.
The room upgrade was a nice surprise. The staff was very polite and helpful . Our request for an earlier checkin was granted. we are looking forward to visiting again.
Location " 10- 15 min walking distance from the train station" and less than 10 min away from the Lake. The staff are very nice. There is a nespresso coffee machine with free capsules refill.
The room was a bite to the warmer side. You need sign in to the internet everytime you come back to the hotel. The elevator is tiny and you need to carry the luggage 4-5 steps to reach it.No complementary water.
Daily service of the room carried out late in the day
The staff was extremely helpful when the wifi system broke down.
Was pleasantly surprised at how well-appointed the hotel was as it's hard to find good-standard hotels at a reasonable price in Geneva. The room (which had air-conditioning) was comfortable and well-furnished, the bathroom was great, and I had no problems with the Wi-Fi. The hotel was about 15 minutes' walk from the main Geneva Cornavin railway station, and also about 5 minutes' walk from the Môle tram station running along Rue de Lausanne.
The breakfast buffet seemed expensive at SFR 18, so I didn't try it. There were boulangeries within walking distance of the hotel where I had coffee and a pastry for much less.
Good and helpful staff. The lake geneva is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Locality of the hotel is ok.
The first thing that struck me was the warmth and hospitality of the front desk staff. They were most courteous and made me feel comfortable. This was the same reaction from my colleagues who also stayed. The location is very central and yet quiet, with good connectivity via Tram services.
Great location and good sized rooms. Breakfast also good.
I'd ask for a room at the back away from the street next time.
The location was very convenient. The room was very spacious.
The cleaning staff did not replenish toiletries and coffee creamers. Room price was atrocious and excluded breakfast.
Hotel is nice, clean. Rooms are gin enough and cosy. Hotel employees are frindly and helpful. I recommend this hotel for the given price range.
Location was excellent.
Breakfast was very expensive. Could have had more choices for the price. Also the central heating/cooling was off "for the season" but it was extremely hot in the rooms so difficult to sleep at night and no way to moderate the temperature.
Great size room
Communal staircase and landing not as clean as could be
