Walking distance from the main station. Tram stop just next to the hotel.

Lovely service apartment, spacious and comfortable. Convenient location.

Clean rooms, with full kitchenware and nespresso machine. Location is good, walking distance to city centre and railway station.

Hotel rooms are not soundproofed at all. We could hear all night snoring and other noises form other rooms. Windows are not soundproofed as well, our room was on a road side, and it was very difficult to sleep.

+ location: 5-10 min. walk from Zurich Central Station and all central attractions, nice surroundings; + reasonable price; + helpful staff; + coffee capsules included, as well as capsule coffee machine; + everyday cleaning, which is advantage in comparison many other European appartment hotels.

- no kettle; - no airconditioning; - extremely small sink at the kitchenette; - room layout is not very logical: the door from the kitchenette always smashes in the door of the wardrobe. - noisy street: don't forget ear plugs!

-We arrived after 2000 and since they don't man the registration desk after that time, we had to use their code system to get our key. Our key was not in the box and after several calls, I finally got a hold of someone to find out that they put it in the wrong box. -Room was extremely cramped and worn. The carpet was dirty and stained everywhere. The shower was bad. Traffic noise all night made it difficult to sleep. -Not a good value for the price

We liked everything.It was late arrival for us so I called to Sandra and she explained me how to get the key. Hotel is not far from railway station and old city.The is kitchenette in the room.It is very comfortable detail I am sure.WI-Fi was excellent.If we be in Zurich we will choose Hotel Astor.

It was not the first time I stayed in Astor, everything was just wonderful as usual!

Again and I think this the only problen with Astor. It's the bad sound proofing.

The friendly staff and pleasant room and also the closeness to the city.

The tram noise was a little disturbing at times but no big deal.

The location close to the train station was great, along with the free wifi.

The hotel was a touch overpriced for what was a clean, but very basic room. I also advise against room 105 - it faced onto the road and was terribly noisy with the trams passing, however if you shut the window the room had no climate control so it got too stuffy.

Bit far away from Zurich HB station as we carry lots luggages, but can easily reach by trams.

Enjoyed having more room to move around after staying in hotel rooms. Convenience of having kitchenette and laundry facilities on hand. View was good over Zurich from our room and just a short walk into centre. Close for trains, bus directly outside and free car parking. Friendly and helpful staff when needed with good English.

Sometimes a little noisy from street below. Shower tiles all cracked and carpet worn and stained which let the otherwise very clean apartment down.

tram right outside did not bother us but we live in a busy city. small elevator, but an elevator.

The beds were perfect, just the way I like it. Plump pillows and clean, warm, fluffy bedding. Nothing better than knowing your bed is clean.

close to centre of town. only 2 stops on tram or 15 min walk. able to do some basic cooking in small kitchen area.

this is not a negative just letting you know that the meal / kitchen area is only for basic cooking / heating of small meals.

Great lighting and spacious

Heating was too high, couldn't find a room temperature controller.

The staff is very kind Parking and wafii are free

Quite near to the main railway center (5-10 mins walk UPHILL, not much a problem for us.) Otherwise very near to the old town strip. The tram line runs in front of the hotel, stop just a few steps away. Great staff. Very helpful. Great fast wifi connection. Considering its Zurich, won't complain for its price. And its convenient to walk about.

Tv wasn't working well at all times (not that it matters if you are out exploring the city all day) Might not be a good place for light sleeper considering the tram runs in front of the hotel.

The location is great if you have a day pass or swiss pass. The building is a little bit old but the rooms are spacious & the staffs are kind and helpful!

The queen sized ded is good. Small kitchen can support simple cooking! Although the bathroom is not very big, but it'sconfortable.

No telephone in the room. No morning call through telephone.

The location was decent enough, ten min. walk to the center, and to the HB Zurich.

the room smelled horrible, disinfection smell stayed roughly in the room, had to keep the window open almost all the time. The rooms and furniture were a little old.
