The 3-star Astoria hotel is in the heart of Geneva, facing the Cornavin train station, close to the business quarters and the UN, the UNHCR, the WTO and the WHO. Guests will spend peaceful nights in the nicely furnished, soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms of the Astoria hotel. Guests can connect to the internet via wireless or wired access or directly with the LCD TV. An internet point is available in the lobby free of charge. The Britannia Pub is one of the first typical English-style pubs ever established in Geneva. The experienced staff provides a relaxed atmosphere, where you can enjoy a nice chat and your favorite beer surrounded by soul or jazz music. For lunch, try the delicious and reasonably priced dishes, salads and burgers. Geneva International Airport is easily reachable within 15 minutes by train from the Astoria hotel. Location, efficiency of process and staff a) The room are too cramped to allow for a working environment... one has to write emails on the bed, as sitting arrangment is too tight. My advise: Fix the TV onto the walls using brackets, and free up space on the desk. b) it is not easy to find the plugs to plug in phone chargers, computer laptops... Make this easier to find.. and more plugs sockets

Maybe the staff, breakfast and location which was close to train station. In addition, the free public transport let you explore the city as long as you want. It is 20 minutes walk to old town and the flower clock close to fountain. It is old fashioned hotel and needs to remodel; however, it is still clean.
