Close to everything, specially the main train station. Free internet access was a super plus. No air conditioning, I really need it. However weather was excellent during our stay and we slept with the windows wide open and it worked out great. I wouldn't stay here during the summer months when is warm is you are like me and need the cold to sleep. |

Good proximity to city center and trams, adequate breakfast, free WI-FI, family size rooms. I think this hotel has gotten a bit of bad rap in other reviews but I do see what could be improved. So in the end, if you're looking for a hotel to pamper you, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a good base for daily excursions into the city, this hotel is great. Elevator inherently unsafe due to lack of door separating compartment and elevator shaft walls. Decor was circa 1970's. Rate was good for Zurich but somewhat pricey for lack of refinement. The rooms and furnishings weren't bad but the bathrooms could use a bit of an update. Nonetheless, it was clean and a good base for our daily excursions. |

Wireless internet worked very well in the room at no extra cost. Staff at counter was generally unfriendly but lady in charge of breakfast was kind. |

Different plug sockets in room that they use elsewhere in Europe I've been, which wasn't mentioned online, and the reception didn't store any adaptors, and when I asked for one, the receptionist started moaning that he didn't have any and moaning people don't bring them back, so the first night was spent in creased clothes and my girlfriend moaning her hair wasn't straight. |
