Wonderfully designed - both your Luxembourg and Koln Hotels. In your Luxembourg Hotel - no free breakfast and the toilet does not have a wash basin- a very unsanitary situation. In your Koln hotel, the staff do not know some information (restaurant, for example) in and around the hotel. |

Localisation of the hotel is good ( a bit mid of the hill) , close to Zurich HBf and old town and bus stop is in front of the hotel. Open buffet breakfast is good which you can find various cheese types, jams, honey, muesli, yogurt, boiled egg etc. The room does not have any air condition thus, it was hot..but large enough and clean. |

The front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and considerate. We are very satisfied with this hotel The only problem we have is that there is no air conditioner in the room so it was very hot all night. |

Breakfast was good. The staff were excellent. Wifi was for free in the room. Take tram no.10 To the airport (32 mins from the Hotel). Also tram no. 10 takes you to the famous Rigiblick (2-3 stops from hotel). My room was facing the street so I heard the trams and cars all day and night. The telephone smelled so bad so I know they dont clean it. I dont think they change my pillow case often (maybe not at all). I stayed there for 6 nights. |

I have to say that I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Astor, Weinbergstrasse, Zurich. My room was very basic but very clean. The staff were most courteous and helpful and they had great patience with my basic knowledge of German. And the breakfasts were excellent. Thank you, Helen Troy The room was advertised on your website as a single room (superior) so I was expecting a room for one person with a little extra comfort. However my room turned out to be a room for two (twin beds) and was very basic/minimalist. In a sense the website gave the wrong impression. But apart from that aspect, I found everything to be very satisfactory at this hotel. |
