Atrium Hotel BlumeKurplatz 4, 5400 Baden (Show map) Very good, Score from 78 reviewsAtrium Hotel Blume is located in the heart of Baden’s spa area, directly on the Limmat River and only a few steps away from the casino. The atrium, built in 1840, and the in-house thermal spring are the highlights of this elegant hotel. The thermal springs supplies the baths with warm thermal water, the most mineral-rich in Switzerland. The water is free from any chemical additives. The sulfurous water is especially suitable for alleviating and curing rheumatic diseases, but also for pure relaxation. The hotel offers massages, thermal baths and special therapies. Stretching over 4 floors, the atrium is decorated with countless flowers and plants. The hotel restaurant is located on the second floor. The gallery in the interior courtyard radiates a Mediterranean atmosphere, while the Art Nouveau hall features historic ceiling paintings, chandeliers and elegant parquet flooring. The individually furnished rooms at Atrium Hotel Blume are non-smoking and offer, like the entire hotel, free internet access. Hotel Rooms: 34

The Roman Bath is a very special experience! The room and decoration is so close to real Roman building. Besides, the breakfast is luxurious. Many varieties of bread, cheese, ham, and mixed fruit. You even can make fresh carrot juice by yourself!

great location for Thermals and Baden centre; quirky historical design of the main areas but modern and well renovated rooms with good soundproofing and large, comfortable beds; friendly and accommodating staff and very good breakfast (good choice), set on the 'inside' balcony around the Atrium - special; the only bathroom toiletries provided were not particularly pleasant soap and shower gel wall-mounted dispensers – it cheapens the overall image of the hotel while the price merits to have a proper range of bathroom products & accessories available

The hotel is charming and just a 10 min walk from the city centre. The room was new and very nice. The Baden thermal baths are just around the corner!

Right in front the ThermalBaden and 5-7 minutes from train station (if you find the little street to turn right easily). The "thermal bath" they have is a small room with a bath that only one guest can go at a time and you have to notify them 30 minutes ahead so they could fill it up. So it's easier and nicer just to go to the ThermalBaden but there you have to pay (after the hotel discount) 13 chf. Breakfast is inadequate.

Old colonial style architecture maybe 17th century with many old fashioned wooden balconies around atrium. 2Nd floor is a small type reception approx 1 meter and restaurant located around atrium with oen small table and four rotan chairs. Wooden floors. Outside terrace of 180cm x 180cm with one small tbale and two metal chairs in a small square surrounded by tall 19th century office buildings not much to relax after long travelling hours. Architecture reminded me of downtown New Orleans Louisiana and some Texas ranches. Missing relaxing terrace. Food and drinks prices too high for comfort and little luxury. Missing bar of soap, toothbrush and toothpaste and missing a bathtub in bathroom and slippers in room fro this roomrate..

The design of the hotel was very good and the breakfast was very good and rich. The new construction near the hotel have a huge sound. The room was very small for two persons. The bed was not comfortable.

It was very different and I liked having breakfast around the atrium I thought the bed covers were very basic - a folded uncovered quilt and the room was chilly on arrival

Das Interieur ist ganz speziell, gutes Cachet. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, sauber und praktisch; gemütliches Ambiente. Das Hotel ist schwer zu finden und die Zufahrt etwas mühsam.
