This recently renovated hotel in the center of Leysin is located right next to the cable car, the ski slope and the hiking trails. It offers panoramic views of the Valais Alps.

The family-run Au Bel Air Hôtel offers south-facing rooms with free Wi-Fi access. For sports groups, there are rooms with up to 7 beds. Family rooms with connecting doors are also available.

Glenn Mature couple Scarborough, Canada August 14, 2011	My wife and I stayed at Au Bel Air hotel after doing the tourist stuff in Paris. The change was extremely refreshing. Lots of space and nature sights to see in Leysin. No crowds at all and we were never pestered by anyone trying to sell us Tour Effiel trinkets. The hotel was very quiet and spacious with a very gracious and helpful host manager/owner. The view from our balcony was stupendous and we were happy to just sit and have some wine while viewing the mountains. Hiking trails were right there and a cable car was next door. Shops were a short hike away but the village has a free bus service - routes all over town- restaurants and sports facilities easily accessed too. If anything, it would be the tv. Needs to be updated. Satellite connection was good but the English content was lacking - bbc had some decent programming but cnn is a total waste of a viewers time - must every cnn reporter make everything sound like a world catastrophe? The view through the balcony was very impressive. In the off-season, there were few guests in the hotel. During night, I felt a little bit lonely, because the host left the hotel to his home. The hotel is positioned directly at the foot of the main village ski runs so is very convenient for skiing and the views from the hotel and room are out of this world. Chambre familiale spacieuse, simple mais propre, grande terrasse face aux montagnes ensoleillée.
