The design Hôtel Windsor enjoys a central location in Geneva, about 220 yards from the Cornavin train station and 550 yards from Lake Geneva. It was entirely renovated in 2009.

Opened in March 2014, Lake Geneva Hotel in Versoix is set on the lake shore and features a restaurant serving traditional and seasonal cuisine, as well as free WiFi access and rooms with an air...
Score from 529 reviews Very good
Benefiting from a prime location opposite the Main Train Station of Geneva, Hotel Bernina is adjacent to a big shopping center and only a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva.
Score from 681 reviews Good
The family-owned Hotel Central is located in the heart of Geneva, a short walk from the Horloge Fleurie / Flower Clock and the Jet d'Eau fountain on Lake Geneva.

a few kms out of geneva on the lake with good views of the lake and the mountains. On the waterfront, with good transport connections. Lovely staff
Beautiful position on lake & near airport
Right on the lake with great views of lake Garden on lake Easy walk to train station centre 10 mins away
Room was old and very well used and with drab furniture. Large cob webs under shelving. some blinds did not work.
Nothing, except close to the Lake
No baby bed was provided for my 6 month old daughter despite a written request and a phone request. We spent two hours trying to build a semi-safe bed from chairs and mattresses for her to sleep on which was extremely stressful. The staff were not apologetic and were rude about the matter. The kitchen had one or two forks. No kettle, no pans, no microwave, so we could not enjoy breakfast the next morning in our apartment. The reception is just the restaurant welcome desk and you are made to wait after the restaurant guests. Tired and shabby furniture, broken window and no curtains so could not block out light. Really disappointed with the stay, I refused to pay for the first night due to the disaster with the bed. To be avoided. Place stinks of smoke everywhere due to smoking rooms.
Big rooms Near to the metro
Not value for money and rooms were not as clean as it should have been Very basic amenities
Easy to find.
The room with mountain view acctually doesn't have a view and was noisy from the street cars. Furniture is old and odd. Not enough light in the bathroom and in the room.
Very good restaurant, and excellent views over the lake. Friendly, and popular with locals.
The reception does not open before 08:30 in the morning... so remember to pay the evening before you leave.
location beautiful view and value for money
Did have an iron but we understand it is not used for business purposes.
The management was rather helpful for everything.
I did not know that I would not be able to checking if I am late even by 15' after 11pm.
It is on Lake Geneva.
A motion detector turns on the hallway light. The detector is at the end of the hallway - near the elevator and staircase. So when you exit your room and close the door, you need to navigate in pitch black dark down to the end of hall before the light comes on!
Close to the Airport, lakeside location
No iron/ironing board in the Junior Suite, or indeed anywhere in the hotel. Reception and breakfast were not available before 8AM, which delayed my start to the day. Only toast/croissant/fruit juice/coffee at breakfast, no other choice. Seemed to be run more as a restaurant which happens to have rooms available, I felt very much like last in line - having to wait 10 minutes to check in whilst meals were served.
Lovely lakeside location, breakfast on the terrace over looking the lake and with views of Mont Blanc. Room 1 (suite) is large with two hob cooking facilities and three beds. Very close to Genthod-Bellevue Train Station which has half hourly trains to the centre taking less than 10 minutes to get there.
Some traffic noise from the main road in morning. Came down to get breakfast at 8am to find restaurant locked up and dark. When breakfast did arrive (8.30am) it was just rather dry toast and jam, and oven baked mini croissants/pain au chocolat.
Bin under sink had not been cleared from the previous guests!
Geneva interval lakeside restaurant and guest house. The terrace ralated to the lake (Lac Leman), the boat and the train station is 2 minutes walk away.
Nice Restaurant Friendly Staff Good loaction for Airport Great view of Lake
Room was very basic
Great location, quiet room (lake view)
breakfast late, restaurant opens at 7:30
the views over the lake
no staff at the weekend to pay our account
The only plus point was that it was not far from where we had to be on the saturday night
The lift was broken. This was a big problem with heavy suitcases and a small child. Plus I am pregnant. We had family staying there too in other rooms. Some are in their 70s and they had to lift heavy suitcases and walk up and down many stairs. The back stairs had clearly not been cleaned for months. The hotel was tired looking and really run down. There are no staff when the restaurant is closed so we had to be there at a certain time to get let in. This was a hassle as we weren't sure of our arrival time, The breakfast was a joke. Dishwater style coffee and croissant. We were really unimpressed. Our hotel faced a noisy room. Our room was expensive too. I would never recommend this place.
The hotel closed on Saturday so there was no breakfast or any staff.
The room was clean. Wi-fi was free, but I had to return to reception to get the password.
The stairwell was filthy and full of junk. The staff did not inform me that the hotel would be closed on Saturday and Sunday morning. There was no one at the hotel when I wanted to check out. No one told me that there would be no breakfast. There was no information available in the room. The furniture was shabby. My window did not seal properly and the street noise was audible. The sachets of shampoo were impossible to tear open with my hands and required the use of scissors.
A large room and comfortable bed. Well-lit halls. Staff attention was adequate. Very convenient to local train station and Webster University. On the lake (if your room faces that way).
The room was run down, and the only lighting was two bedside lamps that couldn't be turned on and off (only unplugged) and a tiny neon bulb in the kitchenette (burned out). No overhead lights or floor lamps at all. DARK! Dusty floor, broken window glass, noisy busy street outside, view of a large gas station, no lobby to speak of, stairwell filled with old furniture and junk. Breakfast not included.
Excellent food in restaurant and amazing view. Big rooms. Close to train station, without being too close, a few minutes and You are in Geneva center in 10 mins and in airport in 20 mins, for only CHF 3.50 !!!
No breakfast Saturday, restaurant is closed, but okay, since I was warned.
The strangest experience after travelling to smaller countries...well this hotel unique. Best view of the lake.
Arriving to a hotel which had a only a lovely cleaning guy in a singlet to greet us. No food available as it was off season and locked out when we went into Geneva. Were given travel vouchers when we asked. If they just want to be a local restaurant and a small hotel with 6 basic rooms out of town, they should say this.
friendly and professional staff, near to UN-compound
room not very clean, main-road in front of room (noisy)
Friendly staff. The room was clean and big.
Room was very hot due to heating pipes. These could not be turned off. We had to turn on the AC the whole night to keep it relatively cool.
