Au Parc Hôtel 4-stars is located in the heart of Fribourg, only 440 yards from the historic center of the city. It offers 2 great restaurants and a breakfast buffet. All rooms of the Au Parc provide a bathroom with shower and bathtub, cable TV, a DVD player and a safe. The suites also feature a jacuzzi. Guests can enjoy the specialties of the on-site restaurant-brasserie La Terrasse, and the Thai restaurant La Coupole. In winter, meals are also served in the atrium, in summer on the sunny and sheltered terrace. Fribourg abounds with cultural societies of all categories and trends. The busy events agenda is completed with a wide range of festivals, including sacral music, modern art, movies, jazz, guitar and folk music. This area has been declared as a historic monument for its 200 Gothic buildings, particular hotels, and many churches, decorated with some of the major religious art objects of Switzerland. We were visiting a patient in the Hopital Cantonal so were very pleased with only a 200mt walk which saved a lot on taxi fares throughout the week. The reception staff were very helpfull when we had to extend our stay. Not the cheapest but a very good hotel in the right spot with a bus stop outside and a supermarket in the basement as well. Limited food options on Sunday night. Only the Thai Restaurant was open which was a bit expensive but ok if you like the food.

Clenliness, professional staff. Acceptance of the fact we showed up on bicycles and let us bring them to our room. The distance from anything interesting. It is kind of far out.

I enjoyed the choice of restaurants and the reception staff were helpful. Some of the staff were a bit cold, some of the equipement in the room did not work properly and the bar was not open

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das war schon immer so. Die Lage. Das Hotel (****) hätte dringend eine Renovation nötig. Fensterfallen bleiben beinahe in der Hand hängen. Viele Möbel und auch der Lift haben grössere Farbschäden. Nett wäre, wenn an Weihnachten eingescheckt wird, eine Kleinigkeit auf dem Tisch stünde und die Betten aufgedeckt wären, so dass der Gast das Gefühl erhält, er ist willkommen, auch wenn es nur für eine Nacht, aber jedes Jahr wieder.

Le personnel agréable et disponible. Choix d'une chambre "fumeur" était un mauvais choix! L'odeur comme dans un "wagon fumeur" de l'époque, nous avons dû acheter un parfum ambiant anti-tabac pour mieux supporter l'odeur persistante. Nous avons eu un regret d'avoir opter pour ce choix, car probablement, les chambres non fumeur devait être plus agréables.

Dass Restaurant und Bar im gleichen Haus sind und es genügend Parkplätze gibt. Das Wasser der Dusche ist schlecht geflossen, die Armaturen sind langsam veraltet/ z.T. abgesprungene Stücke. Der Luxus des Hotels ist renovierungsbedürftig.

Die Lage und das intern Restaurant. In der Hotelbeschreibung steht, dass Wellness zur Verfügung steht. Leider ist dies nicht im Hotel selber sondern extern. Somit stimmt für mich die Aussage nicht, dass das Hotel Welness hat.

Bonjour, Nous avons choisi une suite Junior car elle disposait d'un bain avec remouds ( baignoire très petite...) et les remouds ne fonctionnaient pas. Si nous l'avions su, nous aurions pris une chambre individuelle et non une suite!! De plus un seul produit de douche et de savon pour 2 personnes, c'est juste limite!!! Une machine Nespresso à disposition.... ne fonctionnait pas non plus. Le bouquet de fleurs séché sur la table du salon était tout poussiereux et périmé ( ps digne d'un 4 *). Bref, juste un peu décu de notre passage dans votre établissement!!!

Die Angestellten waren sehr nett. In einem Zimmer war die Tapete gammelig/schimmelig. Das Frühstück ist für diesen Preis sehr übersichtlich.

Das Bett war ausserordentlich gut (ich habe herrlich geschlafen) und das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet hat prima geschmeckt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder einmal. Schade, dass die Lage des Hotels nicht zentraler ist.

Gutes Essen im Restaurant mit guter Bedienung. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und daher besteht Handlungsbedarf bzw. Renovierungsbedarf. Empfangsdesk-Mitarbeiter unfreundlich.

Grosses gemütliches Zimmer. Gutes Frühstuckbuffet. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist ebenfalls fein Mehrheitlich junges Personal ohne Erfahrung an der Reception, das die Kundenfragen nicht beantworten konnten. Minibar offensichtlich schon lange nicht mehr geputzt.

Die Lage: Das Hotel liegt nicht, wie angegeben, im "Herzen der Altstadt", sondern ziemlich ausserhalb. Die Taxifahrt zur Altstadt kostete EUR 19.--, somit ergibt sich die Entfernung. Ich habe das Hotel aufgrund der zentralen Lage gebucht, was leider nicht zutreffend war.
