The Hotel was clean, right beside Lake Murten and the room was spacious and had a lovely little balcony. It was only a 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of Murten. A very atmospheric mini break! The Hotel bar was closed on a Saturday night at 10pm. We would have liked to have a drink before going back to our room.

Very cosy, excellent situated (15 minuts from Murten old city; on the lake), renovated (though bathroom fitment is not new, it's working without problems). Staff speaking at least 3 languages (suiss german, french, english); good breakfast (though without fresh fruits and fresh juices - good choice of bread, yogurts, cheeses, seeds, jams etc)

Leider nicht sehr viel. Die Matzatzen waren gut und wir haben im ebenerdigen Zimmer, mit Fliegentürgitter und offener Tür geschlafen, da wir nicht ängstlich sind, ansonsten müsste man für diesen Preis in einem geschlossenen Raum schlafen. Die Begrüssung war kurz und unfreundlich, zudem liegt die Rezeption in der dunkelsten und hintersten Ecke des Entrèes. Dazu kommt, dass die Zimmer nur durch Nebenräume oder am Haupttrakt vorbei erreichbar sind, so fühlt man sich wie jemand, der für Zusatzeinkommen gutgenug ist. Der Frühstücksraum ist eine notwendige Nebensache, aber eben auch keine einladende, helle und sonnige Räumlichkeit. Zu dem verstehe ich nicht, wieso ich in der Schweiz den billigen Kännchenkaffe geniessen sollte. Der Fernseher, für uns keine zwingende Notwendigkeit, aber es war ein Modell aus dem vorletzten Jahrhundert und mickerig klein. Bei der Begleichung der Rechnung wurde kein freundliches Wort ausgesprochen und bei der Abgabe des Schlüssels, war kein Mensch an der Rezeption; keine Verabschiedung !!!

L'emplacement, l'accueil, le restaurant, la décoration des chambres, récemment refaites. Comme dit justement dans les critiques lues avant de réserver, le bâtiment n'est pas très bien isolé. Nous avons eu de la chance d'avoir des voisins bien élevés, on entend assez bien qui bouge dans le couloir et dans la chambre voisine. En haute saison, à 2 personnes, le prix est assez élevé, on dira que le cours du fs n'aide pas.

Bellissima posizione in riva lago, a 10 min di piacevole passeggiata in riva al lago dalla cittadina di Murten. Arredamento /oggettistica e decorazione nelle aree comuni curata ed accogliente. Abbiamo chiesto una camera tranquilla al momento della prenotazione, ed hanno avuto effettivamente l'attenzione di posizionarci al meglio. La struttura necessiterebbe di qualche lavoro di manutenzione. Sicurmamente la vicinanza con il lago con la sua umidità hanno inciso. Il fatto che vi sia la moquette nella stanza, è un punto decisamene negativo, per un ovvia questione di igene, oltretutto nell'hotel soggiornano ospiti con dei cani. I due dispenser del sapone in bagno erano praticamente vuoti, segno di poca attenzione al momento delle pulizie. Ritengo che il prezzo di chf 250 per una doppia a notte, sia un po' elevato per l'insieme della situazione. Evidentemente si paga la sua posizione.

schöne Lage mit Aussicht auf den See, Balkon, ausserordentlich feines Essen auf einer schönen Terrasse, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, gutes Personal ringhörig, man hört den Nachbarn schnarchen, jede WC-Spülung und jedes normal geführte Gespräch, Ohrenpax empfohlen

Endroit très calme au bord de l'eau. Vue extraordinaire sur le lac. Personnel très sympathique. Impression de vivre en communauté car l'insonorisation des chambres est inexistante... Ai même été bercée par le ronflement de mon voisin....de chambre!

Wunderbare Lage, tolle Aussicht, sehr ruhig, jedenfalls was der Verkehr angelangt. Gegessen haben wir nicht im Hotel. Sah aber eher teuer aus. Das Zimmer waren sehr schön renoviert und gemütlich, mit Balkon. Das Zimmer war extrem hellhörig, sprich man hörte den Fernseher nebenan sehr gut und auch die Gespräche. Im Bad hört man sogar den Nachbarn niessen und kann die Unterhaltung praktisch wortwörtlich mitverfolgen.
