The hotel is situated below the small Zähringer town of Murten, in a very quiet area directly by the lake.

Our chef, Peter Moss, will spoil you with delicious fish dishes and seasonal specialities. His contemporary light cuisine is well known even across the borders of the region.
On our wine card you will find wines from the nearby region of the Vully as well as different first-class national and international wines.

Room information

We offer 22 en suite rooms on a quiet location near Lake Murten. All rooms are equipped with all common facilities including a balcony or terrace. Guests can use the spacious lawn and hotel pier which leads to the lake.

Area information

Murten is located in the western part of Switzerland, at the border of the German- and French-speaking regions.

Travel information

Murten is located along the motorway A1 (Bern - Lausanne). Take the exit "Murten" and follow the signs "Murten/Murten-Ost" for 2 kilometres. At the first traffic circle (BP garage) turn right, at the second traffic circle turn right again and drive in the direction of "Muntelier". After about 200 metres you reach the village road and turn left. After 50 metres, you find the hotel on the right-hand side of the road.

Murten is easily reachable by train. The hotel can pick you up at Murten station or at the Muntelier/Löwenberg stop.
