Very friendly hotel with great staff. Unfortunately I do not speak German and there is a slight language problem but the staff persevered and we had a great time. The breakfast is great and keeps you going to lunchtime. The station is less than a minute away on a fairly busy main line and by a main road over the mountains but the double glazing reduces the noise almost completely. Lots of fresh air and the rooms are kept immaculately. Well reccommended and well sutuated with short journies to Brig, Spiez, Interlaken and Thun. There are also good bus services available to explore the local area. Hotel facilities are basic but all you need. The evening menu is also very good with some delicious meals which should suit most people.

friendly,warm and exceptional kindness of the staff. proximity to many tourist attractions such interlaken and its surroundings. supermarket in vicinity of the hotel. train station nearby. no electric kettle ,coffee/tea in room.

Very friendly personnel, including the owners. They were ready to help regardless of situation or opening hours. Great cuisine, beautiful surroundings. If you want to travel to Switzerland but want to avoid mass tourism, we would recommend this hotel.

Nice family hotel just opposite the railway station. Therefore very convenient to move around the Lötschberg area by train. Single room big and spacious. Free and very quick wi-fi all over the place. Breakfast including coffee, juice, yoghourt, cold meats, croissants... Much recommended hotel if in the area.

Lage, Zwischenstop nach 700 km Reise auf dem Weg ins Wallis ist ideal. Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unser guter Hund ist jeweils willkommen. Wir waren schon drei Mal da. Nähe zur Schienenstrecke, aber war uns bekannt.

Zeer schone, prettige kamer. Bedden goed. Ondanks dat het aan een drukke weg ligt zeer stil. Goed geïsoleerd. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst. Zeer smakelijk eten, goed ontbijt. Restaurant zou wel een beetje gezelliger mogen. Erg veel licht.

Ausgezeichnete funktionierende Infrastrukur, sauber und technisch einwnadfreie Nasszellen auf sehr sauberem Niveau (hygienisch könnten sie da mit einem Spital mithalten). Personal offen, freundlich,hilfsbereit und kein Gang ist ihnen zu viel,für den Gast. Nur das Wetter

Das Hotel ist per Auto und per Bahn sehr gut erreichbar. Ich kam erst spät am Abend an und wurde sehr zuvorkommende bedient inkl. etwas kleines zum Essen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Preisleistung stimmt.

Nach überrestaurierten und modernisierten Hotels im In-/Ausland mal wieder ein richtig gutes CH-Hotel mit 80er-Jahre-CH-Flair (hatte schon lange kein Bad mit Badezimmerschränkchen mehr!) :-) und beim Frühstück gab es Service am Tisch (super Service sogar) und nicht ein mühsames Buffet. Halt wie bei allen Schweizer Hotels ist der Zimmerpreis relativ hoch.

It's near the train station easy to go to Interlaken. The price is fair. It stands by the main road side. Traffic noise can't avoid.
