Easy accessible to the Luzern city, bus stop is just in front of the hotel with once 15 min frequency The hotel does not have a elevator, we stayed at second floor and we have to carry our heavy luggages all the way up. |

Very comfortable, well furnished and located hotel. Excellent food if a little pricy for the Brits. Well positioned for quick travel into the city centre (Luzerne), by car or bus. Nothing worth mentioning here. The Balm is a good example of Swiss hotels, well run. |

the room was quite big, something like 28m² really not soundproof, easy to hear people in the next rooms ; I was hearing the car on the road as well, but with earplugs it was alright to sleep ; twin beds put together to do a double bed ; the mattress was too soft |

The rooms were larger than normal for four people and this made our five night stay more comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and it was a great advantage to have free wi-fi Internet. Although two kilometres from Lucerne, the hotel is well located on bus and train routes which make travel easy. |

The staff, rooms, and breakfast were all terrific. The best thing about the Balm was that it is close enough to Lucerne, but you feel like you are more out in the country. My children loved being able to play at the playground and take walks into the wooded area at the back. |

Our room was like a mini-suit with a small "living room" adjacent to the bedroom. The breakfast was excellent. The children that were running up and down the stairs and knocking on our door. They had some sort of family reunion and the parents didn't seem to feel the need to watch what their kids were doing. |
