The 2 renowned restaurants, one with a terrace in the idyllic garden, an inviting bar, as well as a members-only night club of excellent reputation contribute to the fame of the Baur au Lac hotel. Since it's founding almost 37 years ago, Club Diagonal is one of Switzerland's most legendary places to be for Zürich's high society. Free internet access is available in the entire hotel including the business center and IT support will be at hand if you have any technical problems. Whether you need to be in shape for a whole day of meetings, or simply want to be fit for fun, your will enjoy the superb views from the top-floor fitness center. Medical massages and physiotherapy are available on request and there is a hair and beauty salon on site. Very friendly staff. Free wifi with comfort speed. Comfortable rooms. Willy too expensive, even for rich tourists. Road-side rooms are quite noisy especialy in the morning hours, when you wanna sleep a little more)). Breakfest assortement must be better developed with more fresh fruts and vegetables, as more and more people prefer healthy nutrition, and patisserie should be fresh and hot for those guests, who arrived from french side) But, anyway, I think it's the best hotel in Zurich! So, I'll stay there more for sure!

The polite and efficient staff. The lake walks. This is the first hotel I stayed at that provided free mini bar, which is a great idea along with the free wifi. It does not make you feel you are being ripped off. Breakfast was not served outdoors!

Le classicisme de ce grand hôtel suisse, son personnel attentif, la qualité des chambres et du service. Et aussi le fait que pour un client l'hôtel donne l'impression de ne pas appartenir à une grande chaîne. Ce n'est peut-être pas le cas, mais en tous les cas cela en donne l'impression.
