Location

Smell from kitchen in the lower floors, families with young children are provided with two seperate rooms in place of quadruple room. At a new place Its difficult to seperate young children.

The staff was very helpful. The location is quite convenient as the railway station was close by.

The hotel doesn't have neither air conditioner nor fan in the room. In summer we need to keep the windows open. We stayed in the first floor and was not comfortable in keeping the windows open. Further, there has been lot of traffic (vehicles) sound through out the night which disturbs the sleep after a long tiring day. To put in simple words, quite noisy.

The park at the backside of the hotel is amazing and scored much more points than the hotel itself. The mountain view from the rooms are just fabulous, and is the charm of the hotel. The resturant is quite spacious and has sitting arrangements outside as well.

The rooms were not as clean as expected. The bathroom and accessories provided were below standard. The windows had spider webs at some places. The breakfast didnt have as much variety as I expected, but was of good quality.

As a family of five travelling for Xmas, this hotel was perfect. Very homely and warm and generous to its guests. The food was excellent, room very cosy comfy and spacious - particularly the triple room. On Xmas eve the hotel provided two horse drawn carriages for all of its guests, who were taken for a ride all over the city then to a lake for Xmas drinks, cakes and lots of Xmas cheer! The weather was abit of a hinderance as it was snowing and very cold but it was a very generous activity with wonderful intentions. Not a Xmas that we as a family will forget! We chose this hotel as it sounded authentically Swiss and it certainly was. Very unique in a modern world.

Hotel Beausite is a very nice hotel in a very beautiful alpine village. Warm, comfortable, affordable and friendly staff, clean tidy rooms, decent size and with excellent character.

Walls are a little thin and could hear next rooms tv plus noisy people in the corridor at early hours of the morning.

Quite large room, even separate toilet. We were with 2 children and space was enough for 4 person. 5min walk from supermarket and 7 min. walk from railway station - very confinient. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

Convenient location for all travelers with or without car. The triple room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough to stay with 2 adults and 2 small kids. Wifi connection in the room was also fine. The staffs were kind and helpful.

It was not a problem for us, but the building and facilities in the room were generally old.

Very friendly staff, fantastic location and views, excellent New Year's Eve dinner

At the beginning the reception ladies are so nice and helpful. She let us changed the rooms to a bigger ones with different price that we agreed. However, when we checked out the hotel charged additional chf 50/night for the changed rooms on top of the price different that we agrred.

The Manager of this hotel has to be retrained about the Hospitality. He doesnt really understand that he is running a Hospitality Business. When we complained about the additional charges chf 50/night, he handled us with a very rude manner. I believe becauze we are Asian so he could charge us any money that he wanted. He couldnt show me any reasons for that extra chf 50 except the bathroom is bigger. I deffinitely will not stay in this hotel again and will not recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. I have put this complaints on all my contacts in facebook, twitter, and blog. I hope the owner of the hotel read it and take immediate action on this manager before his business bankrupt.
