Our B&B apartments im Grunen promise you carefree rambling, biking and thermal bathing holidays. Situated on a sunny terrace, half way up to the Aletsch, it can be easily accessed by public transport (Mörel station), by car, bus or bike. Our guests can benefit from the services of the Hotel Salina Maris, which is 300 metres away.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Hotel information

Lying on a sunny terrace, half way up to the Aletsch (Unesco World Heritage) The B&B Apartments IM GRÜNEN offer you studios and apartments looking south and west, all equipped with bathroom and kitchenette. In front of the house is as big lawn inviting you to sunbathe. There is a ping-pong room in the house and an outdoor table as well. In the basement of the building is a big garage for cars and bikes.

Food & beverage

There is a breakfast buffet from 07:30 am to 10:00 at the hotel Salina Maris (300 metres from the hotel). The Restaurant Taverne is 250 metres away. Every evening we spoil you with various regional dishes from 16:00 to 22:00. The restaurant also offers you a daily menu.

Room information

All our double-rooms are studios with approximately 28 m² space, balcony or terrace, kitchenette, fridge and bath/WC. In the living-room are 2 comfortable pull-down beds. The single-rooms are the same.

No daily room cleaning for stays of several days. An intermediate cleaning is available for an extra charge.

Area information

Breiten is located in Breiten/Mörel, 8 km away from the centre of Brig, in the middle of the world heritage Aletsch.
With a cable car you can reach Riederalp within 10 minutes.

In summer time you can enjoy wonderful hiking trips at the Aletsch forest, high above the Aletsch glacier - the longest glacier of the Alps.

In winter time can you get to the ski area Altesch, including 99 km of ski runs, by ski-bus and cable car. You will find cross-country skiing facilities at the Goms valley. The slopes can be easily reached by the Cervin-Gotthard-train.

Breiten is also a perfect starting point for hiking trips in the whole Upper Wallis.

The website did not make it clear that the reception was in a different hotel somewhere else! We were on foot and this was a real problem!

On nous serre généreusement du café! Le service est très bien et les chambres sont très propres. Calme et paysage magnifique.

pas de musique de fond pendant le déjeuner... et la piscine ferme trop tôt (19h) en week-end.

o acesso a piscina que estava incluida no alojamento. Está preparada para ajudar do descanso das belissimas caminhadas que se podem fazer na zona de Brig (nomeadamente glaciar de Aletsch)

Die gute Lage und Studio mit Balkon

Dass die Internetbenutzung pro 15 MIn. 5.00 Sfr. kostet machte mir Mühe. Schade dass das Solebad am Wochenende nur bis 19.00 Uhr geöffnet ist.

Rustig gelegen hotel

We hadden zelf beter op moeten letten, maar het is nog een 15 minuten steil omhoog lopen vanaf het station. Bovendien is de receptie in het lager gelegen hotel en niet bij de appartementen. Overigens, ben ik voor 3 CHF per persoon op de terugreis naar het hotel gebracht. Dus dat was verder prima

es war nicht klar, dass es sich bei dem B&B um Privatwohnungen handelt, die wenn freistehend vermietet werden - ich persoenlich fand das eher unangenehm, v.a. auch, da die Einrichtung dann dem persoenlichen Geschmack entspricht, was in unseren Fall ein Stil war, der bereits in den 70er fraglich gewesen sein duerfte, d.h. ich haette mich in einem "anonymen" Zimmer wohler gefuehlt als in diesem

Uczynnośc obsługi oraz elastyczność w przypadku wystąpienia trudności, przykładowo recepcjonistka zostawiła dane i klucze dla gościa mającego problemy z terminowym dotarciem w uzgodnionym telefonicznie miejscu, kierowca busa poczekał na zjazd gości ze spóźnionej kolejki

Można byłoby wprowadzić więcej hot spotów dla internetu (nawet płatnych)

da es kein Hotel sondern Appartment ist, war die Möglichkeit zur Selbstversorgung gegeben(Kühlschrank...) gut!

Nur ein grosse und kleines Handtuch für jeden! Zu wenig! Wie ist das bei einem längeren Aufenthalt?Es gab nur einen App.schlüssel für 2Personen,das funktionier nicht besonders gut.
