Since we booked online the first room they offered us was very charming but very small, with a tiny bathroom with corner shower that my husband could not have fit into. They changed rooms on our demand for a price increase. I feel it would have been nice to have been offered a larger room in the same price category.
Very chic and stylish owner, a welcome change from looking at hiking boots and khakis all day long. Also, the food and wine selection at the restaurant was superb and delicious, the service perfect. It was like an alpine museum, so many details and touches to the decor that one was transported to another time. I loved the white dress with beading, posed in a corner upon entering the dining area. It seemed out of place, rather contemporary, against the belle epoque feel of the place. So atmospheric all around, especially with the clouds floating across our balcony. We would have stayed another night but they were all booked--no surprise!
