Belle Epoque Boutique Hotel  

A lovely, intimate hotel perfectly located right in the old town. The decor was so much nicer than the spartan surroundings we experienced in other parts of Switzerland. Switzerland is a very expensive country, so we thought this was a good value in that context.

I'll never understand why the Swiss think two twin beds pushed together really work as a double bed for a couple, but that's what all the hotels think, not just the Belle Epoque. This one was more comfortable than many.

Good location and the room size was ok.

No heating and the tv was circa 1990.... for 240 francs it was overpriced

Excellent location and very friendly helpful staff

Poor value for money. Paying for internet at 12 CH a day is not acceptable when there are difficulties with connectivity. WiFi should be included as should le petit dejeuner for 4 star rating. This hotel has does not supply many things comparably with 4 star in other hotels in Suisse. Some fittings need attention - eg electric sockets.

Very charming hotel in the old city. Location was excellent to all the shops, sites and transportation methods. The hotel is small and comfortable with many artistic decorations that make it warm and hospitable. Staff all very friendly and helpful

Hotel is old and has no air conditioning. Location ok.

As someone who often stays in hotels, It's unique style was refreshing.

The room was extremely dusty and I found to my horror a mass of food-like stuff under the bed. I dare not think what it was and how it had got there but it totally stopped the hotel holding any further joy for me!! To add insult to injury, when I checked out, I was initially overcharged significantly. Please everyone - check your bill properly!!!

I love everything about the hotel. Perfectly situated withing wlaking distance of shops, restaurants and the river. Beautiful decor with a myriad of art deco features everywhere. Fantastic staff and overall just a lovely place to stay. For sure it's certainly not the cheapest hotel, but this was my third stay and now I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. If you wait a year before you stay here, you'll simply be another year older by the time you do!

La posizione: era pratico arrivarci anche senza conoscere la città, e comodo poter essere già in piena città vecchia.

Sono stata molto delusa: l'aspetto della hall e della camera non corrispondeva con le foto in internet. Ho trovato il personale freddo e poco accogliente e la stanza piccola, scomoda e poco luminosa: a un prezzo da 4 stelle! La colazione non era compresa, così come il parcheggio (lontano dall'hotel) e una mattina sono stata svegliata da un inserviente che voleva che me ne andassi per fare la camera!

Die geschmackvolle Atmosphäre in diesem Jugenstil-Hotel ist einzigartig. Ich kann dieses Hotel in jeder Hinsicht wärmstens empfehlen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist herrlich, die Bar stilecht eingerichet und gemütlich. Man fühlt sich wie bei Toulouse Lautrec!

Centrale ligging in het oude Bern, eenvoudig bereikbaar met bus. Het is vooral een oud themahotel in de stijl van de eeuwwisseling. Iets wat je leuk moet vinden waarschijnlijk. Lijkt me vooral leuk voor een (romantische) stedentrip.

Door de oude stijl een wat muffe lucht bij binnenkomst, onderdeel van de sfeer zullen we maar zeggen. Bed matras wat te zacht naar mijn voorkeur. Bijzonder en leuk hotelletje, maar minder geschikt voor de pure zakenreiziger. Je moet een hele goede bril hebben mocht je tv willen kijken vanaf meer dan een meter :)

C'était dépaysant de se trouver dans un décors de la belle époque, une très belle collection de "jugendstyle". La literie est de très bonne qualité. L'emplacement est très plaisant,en plein coeur de la vieille ville de Berne. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir une chambre sur cour.

Que le prix de la chambre, assez élevé, ne comprenne pas le petit déjeuner .

チェックアウト後にコーヒーとクロワッサンをご馳走してくれました。朝早く駅まで歩く前だったので、とても- 感動しました。
