Hotel Bellevue au Lac  

It has the most beautiful views of the mountains across the Lake. The terrace restaurant serves excellent food right on the Lake. There is easy bathing access into the lake (very cold!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little on the small side, and the noise from the road behind the hotel was not great on the first night. But we nevertheless really enjoyed our stay in a place with a lot of old world charm.

The view from the balcony is wonderful and the staff are a credit to the hotel.

Limited dining in the hotel and in surrounding area but I think we were there in a very low season,late April.

Very nice location. Very nice hotel.We had our own balcony that you could smoke on if you wanted to. Breakfast was good. Shopping would have been fun especially in Interlachen if we had come on any day other than Sunday. We planned a two day stay because of Interlachen but had no idea that all of Switzerland closes on Sunday.... Parking was available right next to the hotel and convenient right off the main street. Of course we came at off season Saturday night and a Sunday night.

No refrigerator or microwave. They charge for the internet access. Wi-Fi was available but you had to pay exorbitant prices for it. When many other places allow it for free.

Position on the lake was good- right on the lake with no road between the hotel and the lake. View from the hotel room over the lake was lovely.

The hotel has a neglected air with a soulless ambience. This once- beautiful, epochal hotel has been partly and cheaply "renovated" in a "modern" style, favouring black....... What a pity. The restaurant is "hotel" standard - mediocre. The restaurant staff appeared unprofessional, were very unmotivated and uninterested.

- Morgenessen alter Käse wenig Aufschnitt, das meiste war aufgegessen. - Wir dachten das sind Gäste aus Ghana aber die hatten ja das essen mitgenohmmen, könnten auch Asylanten gewesen sein, wenn ja wäre das ok aber besser getrennte Räume.

Lage am See

Vista molto bella sul lago, camera elegante, spaziosa, con balcone vista lago. Vicinissima a Thun, graziosa cittadina da visitare. A 30 km da Berna, anch'essa da visitare. A 20 km si trova Interlaken, punto di partenza per la bella Grindelwald, ai piedi dell' Eiger e per Lauterbrunner, ai piedi dello Jungfrau, da dove si può raggiungere, con trenino, Wengen.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo e la posizione direttamente su lago con vista panoramica veramente suggestiva.

Schöne Lage unmittelbar am Thunersee gelegen. Ruhiges Zimmer mit wunderschöner Sicht auf den See und in die Berge.

Frühstücksbuffet (inkl. Bedienung) eher bescheiden und mit unterdurchschnittlichem Standard.

Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und im Service waren äußerst freundlich, das Essen im Restaurant ist zwar teuer (wie alles in der Schweiz), aber sehr, sehr gut und daher absolut zu empfehlen! Das Haus samt Terrasse ist wunderschön, die Zimmer renoviert und sehr sauber. Eine Garage gegen Aufpreis ist vorhanden. Die Lage des Hotels ist phantastisch!

Es wurden gleichzeitig 2 Zimmer zum gleichen Preis ca. 6 Monate vor Anreise gebucht. Vergeben wurden dann 1 Zimmer mit Balkon und frontalem Seeblick, das andere Zimmer hatte keinen Balkon und 2 Fenster auf die sehr laute Straße. Das war enttäuschend, vor allem für uns, die das Zimmer ohne Balkon auf die Straße zugewiesen bekamen. Wahrscheinlich bekamen wir dieses Zimmer wegen des Hundes , was aber auch unfair ist, da für den Hund ohnehin CHF 15,-- berechnet werden und dann bekommt man noch das "schlechtere" Zimmer.
