An idyllic location by Lake Brienz. Very quiet and lovely views across the lake to the mountains. Very friendly personal service from the proprietors. Extremely clean and comfortable room although a little on the small side. The menu in the restaurant caters for every taste and the food is excellent. On our last night we were the only guests in the hotel as it was shutting for its annual holiday on the day of our departure - nevertheless we were treated like royalty both at the evening meal and for breakfast. Typical generous Swiss hospitality.

The hotel is directly facing Lake Brienz and it has absolutely a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The environment around the area is also very peaceful and relaxing. It is an ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway or a short break with friends and family.

If they abrove my words I would say "This is my Home" thanx a lot

Balcony is spacious with amazing lake few.

Price is too high for such small and simply facilitated room. Maybe because it is beside the lake, rooms are humid with strange smells.

The hotel is located next to the lake. Its view is so beautiful. It's like I were dreaming when I woke up in the morning and looked at the Alps.

The hotel overall is good and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

The room is small and the location is a bit far from the final bus station as we have heavy luggages.

Everything, good friendly patrons, great breakfast, great evening food, great location, good sized room, Great balcony, great views.

No english option on the TV, which is no big concern in such a scenic location

Nice location, albeit one needs a car. Good restaurant, friendly staff. Breakfast was good, varied and abundant. I believe it must be a wonderful place to stay in the summer.

On arrival, in spite of having specifically requested to have a room with a large double bed, I found that I was allocated a twin room. This was a very special occasion for our couple, I was very upset. Fortunately, there was a room available with a double bed. The drawback was that the heating was down, and I was happy that I had been unexpectedly able to arrive much earlier than foreseen, so that before having to use the room, it had become almost sufficiently warm. It was actually never warm enough: the corridor was not heated, nor were the empty neighbouring rooms, I would certainly recommend this hotel in the summer, but hesitate for the winter. Also, the bathroom was not heated. the very noisy ventilation remains on for ages
