This small, cosy hotel under new management is located on the left shore of Lake Brienz, at the foot of the Jungfrau region. The hotel is directly facing Lake Brienz and it has absolutely a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The environment around the area is also very peaceful and relaxing. It is an ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway or a short break with friends and family.

The location was great. View from the room was amazing. Would go there again and recommend to others. Staff okay, the young man I believe the owner although polite wasn't very friendly I thought. The rooms were clean and comfortable although it could be a bit upgraded.

We enjoyed the excellent, lakeside location. It was also very quiet. Our room had a large balcony with a wonderful view of Lake Brienz. The hotel staff were great. The food & dining areas were fantastic. The pretty, small village of Iseltwald was an easy walk away.

We adored our stay here, the owners are charming, pleasant and extremely helpful! The food was incredible and the chef came out to visit each table during dinners. When we left early for a train trip into the mountains and missed breakfast, they made us a wonderful lunch with sandwiches, yogurt, apples, water bottles and a cookie. The rooms are clean and relaxing; it is like staying at and bed and breakfast. We will definately go back there again, if in Switzerland.

First of all the kindness of the owners and, at the same time, managers of the hotel. Real professionals but familiar also, with an excellent business organisation. The natural environment is also exceptional, on the lake, with beach, with possibilities for activities in the lake, in a very nice village, with kind people and near a medium size town (Interlaken).

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil et le service chaleureux. La vue magnifique, le calme, le succulent repas du soir le copieux petit déjeuner. Grand balcon terrasse, fruits et minérale dans la chambre.

Die herrliche Lage des Hotels direkt am Brienzersee. Das kleine aber gemütliche Zimmer mit Balkon, dem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet und einem perfekten Kundenservice. Im Weiteren steht auch ausreichend kostenfreier Parkraum zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Très belle localisation au bord du lac. Au calme et en pleine nature. Hôtel entouré de superbes montagnes. Très bon petit déjeuner. Les repas du restaurant sont également très bons mais un peu cher, le cours actuel du franc suisse se faisant évidemment sentir... Les meilleures offres à cet endroit sont proposées durant l'hiver bien que l'hôtel soit assez proche (30min environ) des villages de montagne très prisés à cette période.

Sa proximité du Lac de Brienz. Isolé, calme, les couleurs d'automne au levé et au couché de soleil étaient juste bluffantes. Le buffet petit déjeuner, frais et tres ragoutant !!! Le style de la chambre un peu retro

Le charme du bâtiment et sa magnifique situation au bord de l'eau et au calme. Nous avions déjà réserver pour manger ailleurs mais si nous y retournons, nous nous réjouissons de goûter sa cuisine car la carte était très alléchante. Il manque juste un peu d'isolation entre les chambres...nous entendions ronfler à fond dans la chambre d'à côté.

La ubicación es espectacular, sus vistas muy bonitas. Personal del hotel simpático y desayuno bastante completo. The location is spectacular, its a wonderful view. Hotel staff friendly and breakfast very complete. Es excesivamente caro, es un albergue no un hotel. Imposible dormir sin tapones se escucha absolutamente todo al ser de madera todo el hotel, imposible descansar. It is too expensive, is a hostel not a hotel. Impossible to sleep without earplugs listening to everything made of wood throughout the hotel. Unable to rest. Needs updating.
