Area information

In spring, summer and autumn all the famous sights of the Bernese Oberland (Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Ballenberg Museum, etc.) can be reached quickly from the hotel. The hotel is also an ideal starting point for many sports and leisure activities, from hiking, mountain bike and cycling tours to mountaineering, rafting, canyoning and water sports on the lake.

In winter, Iseltwald is only 45 minutes away from the nearest ski resorts and offers a fantastic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

You can reach Iseltwald from Interlaken via the A8 motorway in only 10 minutes.

Berne Airport is 45 minutes away, Zurich Airport 90 minutes. Both cities can be reached comfortably by car and by public transport.

Important information

The restaurant and the hotel are open all year, with the exception of a few days around Christmas and New Year.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Hotel guests are recommended to have dinner at the Hotel Chalet du Lac or at the Strandhotel, both of which are nearby and can be reached on foot.
