A jewel of Art Nouveau architecture, the Bellevue Palace is situated in the heart of Berne next to the Federal Parliament.

Its location and history are as unique as its exceptional and its unique panoramic “belle vue” of the Bernese Alps and the River Aare. For more than a century, we have received guests with Bernese hospitality, statesmanlike discretion and a unique ambiance, combined with first-class gastronomy and excellent seminar and banquet facilities.

A delicious buffet breakfast is served in “La Terrasse” every morning from 06:30 to 11:00. For late risers we are happy to serve continental breakfast in the comfort of your own room.

Our room service is available daily from 06:00 to 24:00 (reduced menu from midnight). Simply select from our wide range of delicious dishes and list of fine wines.

All our rooms have undergone a complete renovation, combining old-world charm with the most modern comforts, and assuring guests of a restful and relaxing stay.

Elegant parquet floors, harmonic colours and Modern Art are only some of the highlights of our Business Floor - extra-large desks and a balanced lighting concept round off the rooms on the 5th floor.

Berne is an ideal departure point for many attractive excursion destinations, such as the Alpine resort of Zermatt, picturesque Lucerne, the Jungfraujoch (Europe’s highest-altitude railway station) and the lovely Lake Geneva region. But as Switzerland’s capital, our scenic city is also a major attraction in its own right. Visitors can’t resist the 6 kilometres of picturesque arcades, the medieval magic of our historic old town on the River Aare, the legendary Bearpits and all those beautiful boutiques. Berne has also succeeded in combining the traditional and the trendy when it comes to culture - for example, classical music, dialect rock, the late Gothic cathedral and the prestigious Paul Klee art collection. No wonder Berne was made the capital of Switzerland.

The room and the view of Bern from the room was beautyfull

The TV was without audio and the jet of water in the bathroom was poor. But probably is it not so normally.
