The hotel is cosy and the night receptionist was extremely friendly and nice. The room we stayed was very nice, practical and had a magnificent view of Mount Pilatus. There was a balcony, but we didn't use, we stayed only for the night... If we go to Lucerne once more we will strongly consider staying in Bellevue again. Like almost all small hotels, the elevator was small and had no inside door. The TV was a bit old but worked fine. |

Without a doubt, some of the friendliest staff I have ever run into in a hotel. From the onset of our arrival, Marlen and her husband Marco went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. They made it feel more like a B&B than a Hotel. No. For the value I would stay there again and again. In fact, we are planning to return next time with our adult children. |

Hotel staff is the friendliest and most outgoing I have ever seen. They will bend over backwards for you. Very near downtown Lucerne (approx 1.5 miles), bus stop close by. Great view of Mt Pilatus. Breakfast is ok, not great. Situated on main road, can be noisy in the mornings. |

The staff at this hotel were excellent. They all spoke several languages. On arrival, the receptionist sat down with us and gave us a welcome drink and snack and a wealth of helpful information. We booked trips and bought travel cards at the hotel saving alot of time and effort. The room was spaceous and comfortable with a view of the mountains and small part of the lake. Generally a very good hotel experience. Only a 10 minute bus ride (every 15 mins) from the city centre. Road was a bit noisy and, as there was no air conditioning, we had to have the window open. However, the hotel provided a "Good night box", with ear plugs, eye maks and various other goodies to help you sleep. |

Good breakfast and very friendly helpful staff. We were expecting an air conditioned room but there was only a big fan - this was however useful.A bit noisy as there is a main road outside the hotel. |

The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The hotel seemed expensive for what you got, however, we chose it for the location (which was a good place for us to stop on our way to Italy) |

Everything about the Hotel was Good. The Hotel Management was very friendly and helped us a lot during our trip. The best thing was that the Hotel provides bicycle free of charge and it is very convenient for every people to explore lucerne on its own. Nothing was bad save and except the distance to the Hotel from the Railway station was about 4 -5 km. But then you have the Bus No 24 which has its stop right at the corner of the Hotel. It charges around 2.80 CHF to the Railway Station. If you have a swiss pass, it is absolutely free. |

Large rooms with balconies. No air con, but a fan is provided and window shutters are kept shut, which keeps the room cool on returning from a day out. Views over the lake to Mount Pilatus, you can also sit on the balcony watching the sun setting with a cold drink. Good continental breakfast with plenty to choose from. The hotel is slightly out of town, so no late night noise from bars clubs and discos. There is free parking and regular buses to the city centre. There is some road noise at night, however ear plugs are provided in rooms. Finally use of sister hotels facilities including sunbathing, lake swimming area, sauna and solarium is available included in price of room. |

The reception staff were extremely competent, friendly and helpful and the facilities and attention to detail quite extraordinary. It was quite close to the road and could have been noisier than it was. |

We were most impressed with the staff and their welcome. It was so unusual to be presented with a cheese and bread platter as we settled into our room. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are to be commended for their initiative and very good customer relations. Nowhere treated us as well in our two months'stay in Europe. |

Clean, internet access, balcony with table. Staff speaks english and is very helpful. Road noise is significant, disruptive, and irritating. Not really lake view although adds infer this. |

Very helpful staff, especially the front desk. For the money, the view to the lake and Mt Pilatus is unmatched, if the room is located on the 3rd floor. Being able to use the facilities of The Hermitage across the road is also a plus. |
