Hotel Bellevue

We enjoyed our stay at Bellevue very much. The staff were courteous and very helpful with any of our requests. Breakfast was lovely with good choice. Located perfectly near the train station and was easy to find and good value for money. I would recomend it to a friend

Nothing, only room are too small.

the only thing ok in the hotel is free Wi Fi internet and the view in the reiver.. every thing is not good and not confortable breakfast,rooms etc.

Great view, being right on the river bank, yet very central to both the town centre and the west railway station. Good breakfast buffet.A relaxing break.

Exellent free wireless access. Location close to city centre and railway station. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet room with views overlooking the Aare river.

No refrigerator in room. No tea making facilities. Small room. Shower in bathroom was difficult to use with confined space and no handrail.

Chose Hotel Bellevue because it was ranked 3rd. I was disappointed because the hotel is really basic for the price that I paid, at CFH 275 per night. I was given room 214 which faces the garden and could see the river. Behind the garden is a railway track. The noise by the passing trains only stops between midnight and 6am the following day. The noise took me by surprise as it was not mentioned in any past reviews.

Hotel was as described and we had a balcony and looked out over the river to the mountains. Staff were pleasant while the breakfast was only fair. It is in a central location.

Floor was the original wooden floor and ear plugs are provided for guests in case this gets too much. Thank goodness we were on the top floor!! I alos thought that the cost of staying at the hotel was overpriced.

I liked the view from my room to the Jungfrau mountain. I also generally liked liked reception staff and one of the ladies in the breakfast room - they were nice and polite.

I did not like the almost absence of basic staff in the bathroom - they provided with only the smallest bottle of some shower gel and did not even put another for a few days. Also it is really noisy. I understand that the hotel is old and the scweaky floor had been preserved. I even like it. But the basic soudproofing the rooms againt passing trains and crying children would be nice.

Breakfast much better than normal, comfortable and clean rooms with balcony and fantastic view over the river to the mountains. Receptionist extremely friendly and helpful, which made it a real pleasure to stay there.

the hotel was an old one. The flooring was wooden but noisy to walk on it creating fear among inmates especially at nights. It is not the same as projected on the website.
