Great location with balcony for absorbing the mountain views and down into the valley. The charm of this well kept historic building adds to the magic of a mountain holiday. Great service by the front desk and shuttle transport to/from train.

My bed was quite unbearable. Could feel the springs in the mattress which made for aching body in the morning. Requested additional down comforter and folded it to add a bearer between me and those springs.

Friendly staff. I was allowed to check in early.

Enchanting views!!! We can see Jungfrau from our room. Thanks to the advice of a hotel staff, we upgrade to a room with views. Located at Wengen, a village not accessed by car. But we realized after we went up to the top of the mountain that Wengen has the best view, not the village above it, nor the village below it. We feel lucky to have stayed in Wengen. Superb service! Hotel staff was always willing to help. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Good room size compared to other hotels we had in Europe. Free breakfast was not luxury but very decent. Buffet dinner was very good given what we had paid for. 酒店地理位置极佳，位于1274M高的村落WENGEN，再高或再低的村落都没有这么好的景色。务必加点小- 钱住在有景的房间，这样就可从窗口眺望白雪皑皑的阿尔卑斯山主峰少女峰了。酒店服务上乘，硬件较一般欧洲同- 级酒店好。请注意WENGEN汽车开不到，只能乘火车。

Older hotel, but rooms are update to date. Took 'superior' room for view over the Lauterbrunnen Valley, with balcony. Well worth the extra few dollars. Simple decor. Large well appointed and spotless bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.

I liked everything. Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent. Nice and kind staff. View was too good. I will surely stay again. The director herselves is involved in every bit and makes sure all are satisfied. The egde over other hotels is the view and peace u get with the service. 5 star service...my family was so happy. thanks all. i give this hotel 10 out of 10

Cheaper rooms at 5th floor are cramped and extremely hot on sunny summer afternoons and later at night (up to 30C). Dinners are rather to avoid.

Very clean hotel and tidy hotel. The room was a bit small and basic by modern standards but everything was present and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was standard continental fare but there was lots of it and it was good. Dinner was a buffet style three course meal and although the choice was limited, the food was fine and plentiful and was therefore good value for money. The best thing though was the view from my balcony window. I chose the superior room type specifically for the view and it is well worth spending the extra as it was magnificent. I would happily stay there again to wake up to that view.

Nothing that would put me off staying there again.

The staff was great & very accomodating in room changes to enjoy a family shared balcony & Janette was super with tour arrangements. The breakfast & dinner buffets were very good with changing dinners options & very reasonable pricing as compared to area resturants. The surrounding mountains & valley view from the top floor was postcard perfect. We will look forward to staying there again on future visits.

Some of the furnishings & decor showed some wear & age, but that also added character to the hotel. The beds were a little firmer than we liked & the pillows, although full & fluffy, provided little support unless doubled over.

So cute, so charming and in a great location. Our rooms were dated but that is part of the hotel's charm. We had fluffy comforters and great pillows. The bed was a bit hard but the place just oozes charm. The location is just up the hill from the train station and easy to find. We did not use the electric car service because it was an easy walk uphill. Plenty or restaurants within a short walk.

It was a bit noisy in the morning as the other guests entered and exited their rooms. Other than that, no complaints at all.

I didn't read that this hotel is only accessible by train. It is halfway up the mountain and no cars are allowed. My husband and I traveled with our 9 and 11-year old children, and it was a highlight. Very spacious accommodations and very friendly staff. We ate breakfast and dinner. More affordable than other places. We took the train to the top of Europe (Jungfrauloch) from here. Neautiful alps view. Special place and town. Was built when rail opened exactly 100 years ago.

The hotel is very lovely, beautiful out look, beautiful lobby and beautiful room. Hotel located at 5 min walking distance from Wengen train station and need transfer from lauterbrunnen, but the view on the train is extremely nice

Hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, room was fantastic and cosy. I was especially pleased when the hotel called me at around 8.30pm to confirm my arrival time at Wengen station so they could send the porter to pick me (I was still in Interlaken then). I had just spent a long and tiring day in Interlaken and wasn't exactly looking forward to the thought of making my way from Wengen station to the hotel when it was late and dark.

The waitress in the restaurant during breakfast didn't look too happy - I thought she might be upset to have to work on a Sunday morning.

Few minutes walk from the wengen station...easy to locate as there are a number of signs on the way... Lots of shops and restaurants on the way to the hotel...pleasant staff... Big rooms with balcony... Clean bathroom... Breakfast was good too... The views from the hotel were spectacular...

The lift was not working on the day we checked out... Will made it difficult to carry the luggage all the way from 3rd floor to the reception. Parents were finding it cold in the room but the radiator in the room wouldn't work...thankfully the hotel provided additional duvets. While taking the big heavy jar of milk during breakfast, my husband cut his finger on the handle. Would have been better if the milk and other juices were in smaller jugs.

Nice all you can eat dinner just for 25 CHF.

Wifi te betalen, terwijl dat tegenwoordig net zoals water, verwarming, elektriciteit toch inbegrepen in de prijs van de kamer hoort te zijn
