Belvoir Swiss Quality Hotel    

Breadth taking lake view, quiet and comfortable, excellent and extremely friendly staff, modern and convenient interior design, spacey balcony, a short drive to Zurich old town

The Belvoir is beautifully designed to make the most of the stunning location. There was good attention to detail (E.G. coffee maker, complimentary water and fruit juice, bath robes etc) and the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and although quite expensive not more so than other hotels we had stayed at in Switzerland. It was a delight to stay there and wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Despite being near a station and in sight when we left the platform we found it took a couple of phone calls before we found the bus stop (it would have been a steep haul up hill with our cases). A hotel pick up would have made less stressful (they said they didn't have a vehicle available).

Little bit far out of the city

Loved pretty much everything! With regards to the location - it does take about 20 or so minutes to get back to the 'city', but the view over the lake and the mountains definitely makes up for it... plus, buses and trains go fairly often (not once did we have to wait longer than 10 minutes) and taking the boat to Bürkliplatz is a fun alternative. Design of the rooms is nice & modern, with lots of clever touches that we liked. Nespresso machine and mineral water & orange juice included in the price were also welcome. Staff was kind & helpful and the dinner we had at the restaurant was great, too.

Superior Double Room maybe could have been a little bigger (felt like it was designed for one person only in some ways), but it was still lovely. Price was a little steep, but would still consider it good value for money. Make sure you put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the doorknob if you don't want to be waken up by housekeeping at 8 o'clock!

This hotel enjoys a privileged position above Lake Zurich, and the view from any floor is truly majestic. Nested in a quasi-business environment, it makes the guest feel on holidays. Boasting modern, lean, airy architectures, it offers pleasant common areas and well-fitted bed- rooms. Mine had a wonderful view on the lake, which is some 30+ km end-to- end. I could embrace it all at a glance. The fitness centre and the wellness areas are in line with the design and atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is of high-quality and a boasts a variety of food adequate to satisfy anyone’s choice.

The staff were superb and the value for money

Although the views were stunning, there is nothing nearby. There aren't any shops, bars, cafes or restaurants. It is totally dead all around the hotel. You have to catch a bus, or taxi to get anywhere near any of the above. There is not even anything within walking distance.

The young lady on the desk was incredibly helpful and the view from the hotel was just the same!!

The room was dry cramped and the bed small

We had a nice view to river, in the morning it was splendid, balcony could allow to breath with fresh air, room was pretty modern. Spa was perfect, 2 kinds of sauna and jaсuzzi on the open air. Parking is free. In general i would recommend this hotel and will back to it again if any trips to Zurich.

The rooms made you feel so relaxed without having to do anything, the restaurant food was exceptional. The staff, location and facilities were top class.

New hotel with up to date facilities and mod con's. Modern decor and fabulous shower. Use of hard flooring and minimal use of soft furnishings. Great balcony over looking the lake.

We were staying in Junior Suite, so room was amazing! Ground floor, you could just exit to the field of grass. Nice view at the Zurichsee

This hotel is extremely stylish and the rooms are lovely. The rooms also contain complimentary water, fruit juices and an espresso machine, which we thought was a nice touch. We dined in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay, even if it was quite expensive.

Excelent room, spectacular view, great location.

Don't use the restaurant. It's posh, but that's all. Restricted menu, long time waiting and my food was cold. Also expensive.

being in the outskirt of Zurich. it was an city hotel without the buzz of the city.
