We stayed here for 2 nights, we had a fab view of the north face of the Eiger which we enjoyed from our balcony. We had read a previous review on this sight complaining of the staff and rooms however we had a very different experience. The staff were helpful and friendly and our room was spacious and comfortable, The location was excellent for hiking and getting to all of the cable cars and only a stroll to all the main restaurants. |

Central location, value for money. North facing rooms have beautiful view on the Eiger north face. Bed linen (duvet and pillows) due for replacement. Bathroom very small. |

We were traveling by train and the hotel was very easy walk with our heavy suitcases, so the location was perfect for us. The hotel had a comfortable and inviting lobby area with lounge that offered free coffee and tee. The staff was also very friendly and gave always good recommendations. If we would return to Grindelwald, we would definitely come back to Bernerhof. Wi-fi in the room did not always have strong signal but considering it is free, can't complain much. We found out that in the lounge they had strong signal so we used it there. Alternatively they had also a computer terminal for those who did not have own notebook. |

The staff were very helpful. The facility of free tea and coffee until 10pm at night was great. Free swimming at the pool a short walk away also great. The location was very good in central grindelwald with only a couple of minutes walk to the train station Room decor was a bit old fashioned - wood cladded walls. |

The location is excellent, extremely near the Grindelwald train station. The view from the balcony of the room was awesome, a totally unblocked view of Eiger. Hotel staff are friendly. There is free internet access and also free good coffee and water. We found the room extremely small, but fortunately there was a nice balcony and the view made up for it. |

Staff are very friendly. Free coffee and tea are grateful. Free Wifi service is also wonderful. Additionally, the location (very close to the main station) is very convenient. |

Wonderful hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, quite satisfactory breakfast, spacious Eiger View Balcony Room as promised, free wireless internet hotel-wide, train station location extremely convenient, nice big soaker tub, we were very satisfied with Bernerhof It was summertime, and a small fan in the room would have cooled it off quicker for sleeping; could add a few English speaking channels to the TV selection (just had CNN International) |

Friendly staff, free tea and coffee from 10:00 - 22:00 h. Conveniently close to railwat station (connections Interlaken, Jungfrajoch). In the city centre, close to cable cars and starting point of (many) great hiking trails. Small balcony but great Eiger view. Small room, for daily comfort furniture needed to be moved often. Older location, which showed buildingwise (not unclean). Only few parking places on hotel lot, paid parking opposite the hotel. |

Excellent staff but not a hotel for wheelchair users by any stretch of the imagination. The lift is too small for a wheelchair and our room had wheelchair access blocked by the stairs. We were also told that we could access the hotel from the front but again a step (and an alpine horn!) blocked the way. Steps everywhere. This was all very curious as we asked about access and were told no problem. We didn't need a disabled room as such as I can walk with great difficulty. So why were we told everywhere in the hotel had wheelchair access? For many wheelchair users this would have been an unmitigated disaster. As it happened we made the most of it. . But in the UK these facilities would be classed as 2star B&B- 1 week was £900!! Lack of wheelchair access when told there was. The fact that for what we got £900 was twice the amount of a 2 star B&B in the UK. This hotel was effectively a B&B above the shops in Grindelwald. Nice balcony- but above the main road with drilling, traffic, construction and noise. |

The hotel is excellently situated for the railway station. Reception staff had an excellent command of English. The hotel rooms are described as recently redecorated. Although the double rooms were I don't think the single room was and certainly ddin't have a bathroom of the same standard as the double room. Sadly, this is often the case in single rooms. (Please note the choices to question 4c don't match my answer as I took my mother for her 70th birthday) |

The staff was extremely helpful in recommending local sights (esp. on one rainy daz) and hiking trail options. They are really friendly and makes one feel at home. Also, very nice was the free access to the Nespresso machine at the comfortable sitting louge area where one can relax after a long day out. Breakfast was good too. The rooms are just very average, but it is reasonable for the price one pays for. |

The cosy Hotel Central Wolter is conveniently located in Grindelwald, just 1 minute's walk from the train station and from all bus connections to the Jungfrau, Männlichen and First region. |
The 4-star family Hotel Spinne is located at the foot of the Eiger, right in the centre of the glacier village Grindelwald. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace offering superb mountain views. |
More than 100 years old, the charming Gletschergarten hotel offers you spectacular views from your cosy room and from the rustic dining room. |
Our centrally located hotel offers a wonderful view of the Eiger. Thanks to its location next to the train station of Grindelwand, it is a perfect starting point for trips to the Jungfraujoch and the... |
