It just 5 minutes walk from the train station, my room can view the mountains directly.

This hotel was perfect for our holiday, it is in a small town with beautiful scenery.

would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room, although it was provided in a seperate lounge, complimentary.

Well located at the entrance to the main village, rooms with balconies face directly toward Mt. Eiger and Jungfraujoch.

Didn't like to have to pay for parking. No electrical outlet near the desk in room for connecting a computer.

The location was great... it was literally a stone's throw from the train station, yet it was quiet. Advice -- pay the few extra CHF for the Eiger view. It was well worth it! The staff were all very sweet and helpful too. Breakfast was a typical good Swiss breakfast. The beds weren't the most comfy, but were OK. Bath and showner were clean and quite functional. All in all, a good place to stay!

No complaints or real dislikes

The location was excellent and close to the train station yet quiet. You could have coffee, tea, or juice from 7am to 9pm. The room and the bathroom were very clean. We had a balcony facing the road and the view was good.

The room is rather small considering the price.If you sat at the desk, no one could pass by as the chair was right next to the bed.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is warm and the room has a perfect view, if booked. Everything was perfect and I would like draw attention to the breakfast room which, as some rooms, has a beautiful view to the mountains.

This hotel is ideally situated near the railway station and the free village busses. It has all the facilities that we needed and the staff were only too willing to help us with anything that we needed. Fitted our trip perfectly.

The hotel is very close to the station and right in the centre of the town so close to everything. We had 2 double rooms for our family of four and both rooms had balconies and faced the Eiger so had magnificent views. The rooms were warm and comfortable although different sizes. Our room was quite large with a tiny bathroom while our daughter's room was quite small with a larger bathroom. There was a lovely lounge area on the first floor where you were able to make yourself tea and coffee all day for free. This area was quite large and nicely furnished so it was lovely to sit and have a drink in. There was a room for ski gear and also a locked luggage room where we were able to leave our luggage after check out. Breakfast was very good and the dining room had a magnificent view of the mountain. We would recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again.

Hotel Bernerhof was excellent in every aspect of our stay. It was just a minute's walk from the train station. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly in providing information about the hotel as well as places we could visit around Gindelwald. The room we got was spacious, clean and had a great view of the mountains. There was free coffee at the lounge and wifi for guests. I will definitely stay at Hotel Bernerhof if I visit Gindelwald again.

Fantastic. Wouldn't stay anyplace else. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. Had an unobstructed view of the Eiger.

The location, in the center of Grindenwald and very near the train station was fantastic. The married couple who worked in reception (the husband until 4 pm, his wife thereafter) were very friendly and helpful.

The single rooms are very small and provide only the basics. This is not the place to stay if you are looking for the comforts of a first- class hotel.
