Any extra bedding is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.

The hotel close to the train station and has the free internet connection. Have a hard time to contact the reception at night because he can't speak English. |

The location is very good. It is a 2 minute walk from trainstation and a 7 minute walk to the shopping and restaurants. The rooms are renovated and very clean. Good if you are on a budget. It is very noisy. Earplugs work. Even though I am a light sleeper, I still slept ok. |

This is a nice enough hotel, I would have no reservations about staying again, but it is basic and on a buys road so would be load with the windows open in summer. Also it is up the hill at the train station, but there is a funicular and it isn't that steep or big. |

The most positive thing about Besso is its location. Its very close to the railway station. Another attraction is the availability wireless internet. Its really useful if you are on a business trip. The managers were friendly and speak English, though most of the other staff doesnt know English. Breakfast was okay, though there is hardly anything special to mention about it. Its most positive factor is also its most important weakness. It faces a very noisy street and noises from vehicles were disturbing the sleep throughout. It was a bit annoying to see that the hotel wont provide you power adapters (Swiss use a smaller type of power plugs). You have to take your own power adapter if you want to use your laptop/ internet. The hotel staff were really useless in that regard and I still cant understand why they cannot provide those adapters (just around 9CHF!) that could be provided to guests on request. Rather than its price, its the difficulty of finding one there that made me really annoyed in this regard!! |

the bathroom was very nice and clean, but it is strange that there was no shower curtain in the bathtub, but i think this is a cultural/ticino thing. the staff was very nice. the hotel is facing a busy street, and the cars are very noisy at night, but it was too warm/stuffy to close the balcony window |

The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. The location is ideal, very close to the train station albeit with the consequence of noise pollution from being next to a main road |

There is a free parking, room is clean, there was the balcony with a piece of the lake view, not far from the centre, Personnel was quite friendly The street below was relatively noisy, sonds in the corridor & from the room in the corridor was heard very well, Breakfast was very average, I consider the price is a bit high for this hotel |

Personnel tres accueillant et sympatique, hotel joli, propre, confortable et tres bien situe. Le bruit de la rue la nuit a cause de la route qui passe juste a cote, ce n'est pas une grande route mais il y a beacoup de voitures qui y passent meme la nuit. |
