schoon, verzorgd buitenzwembad, tafeltennis en voetballertafel voor de kinderen, ontbijtbuffet was niet heel uitgebreid maar zeker ok, grote afgesloten parkin

kamer gaf eerder een ouderwetse aanblik en was niet heel ruim. Het rolluik naar terras ging bv. niet helemaal open en dat was geen recent gebrek. Sfeer in hotel had beetje van 'vergane glorie'.

Het hotel heeft een zwembad dat niet al te druk bezocht wordt, je kan er rustig genieten zonder al die drukte. S'avonds kan je er rustig genieten op het terras aan de bar.

De kamers mogen iets grondiger gekuist worden

It was very cold in the room and the restaurant is closed in the evening time.Poor breakfast was poor...

We had a complex booking as different family members were coming and going at different times, some booking via a Travel Service and some direct - there was a little confusion as to who had Half Board and how and when and where, but it all got satisfactorily worked out. Useful also was having an adaptor for the Swiss sockets available at the desk - my phone charger from Germany fitted, my laptop charger did not, so the availability was important.

Just one thing whioch is hard to change substantially - on the 3rd. floor there was just the one, small lift for access, and the signs to the Fire-Escape steps were only fitted in the corridor leading to them.

We found the Hotel fine. Service met our expectations. Staff were very friendly.

It is in the center of the city and you have the view of the lake, very beautiful views.

They don´t have wifi in their rooms

Yes , It stated that it should have internet acess on the rooms and it did not have that. The acess was one of the reasons I picked the hotel.

The only good thing about my stay was the beautiful view of the lake lugano from my room.

On the site it was mentioned internet would be available in room but when we reached it was informed that due to some problem it is not possible. Also the tv in the room showed picture of very bad quality and an old remote that would hardly work.

View of lake heavenly. Room exceeded our expectations. Restaurant staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel is ideally situated for the city, lake and mountainside.

Did not like the charge for parking. Price of room is high enough for it to be included.

Great, great multi-lingual staff that were earnest in their desire to help with questions and local insights. The views were great! We were hoping for Air C. for the price and found that some AC existed in the literature, but we did not seem to find or feel any.

Like most hotels in Europe, the rooms are small and they seem to overlook that shorter stay clientele that do not want to unpack the whole suitcase such that it ends up next to the nightstand which undermines the enjoyment of the much limited space.
