Great view on the lake. Walking distance from downtown. Free of charge internet connection from the room The fitted carpet was old, dusty and stinky. The bed was not very comfortable. |

We had a complex booking as different family members were coming and going at different times, some booking via a Travel Service and some direct - there was a little confusion as to who had Half Board and how and when and where, but it all got satisfactorily worked out. Useful also was having an adaptor for the Swiss sockets available at the desk - my phone charger from Germany fitted, my laptop charger did not, so the availability was important. Just one thing whioch is hard to change substantially - on the 3rd. floor there was just the one, small lift for access, and the signs to the Fire-Escape steps were only fitted in the corridor leading to them. |

The excellent situation No warm water and no internet connection in the morning; and a handling of the complaint by the management which was not professionnal. It was like they did not really care. Finally I got a discount but I would have preferred to shower with warm water. |

The Bellevue au Lac is a very good 4 Star hotel in a central seafront position, very clean and excellent room and bath acessories. Good sleep, although on the main road, staff is helpful and breakfast is good with a little room of improvement. |

location, views decoration of the rooms is awful; everything is very basic without any charm. It can be a 3 star+; definitely not a good 4 star. The breakfast was awful, I had better breakfast in 3 star hotels. |

I did like it was small and familiar. Yes , It stated that it should have internet acess on the rooms and it did not have that. The acess was one of the reasons I picked the hotel. |

The only good thing about my stay was the beautiful view of the lake lugano from my room. On the site it was mentioned internet would be available in room but when we reached it was informed that due to some problem it is not possible. Also the tv in the room showed picture of very bad quality and an old remote that would hardly work. |

Excellent location, but as with many other Best Western in the city center the four stars are too much. Excellent staff, good cleanliness, quiet, good for families. Breakfast simple and essential, not worthy for a 4 stars. If you complain with reception, the answer is, "but sir, you took a Standard Room!". Even if the reservation has been made on the basis of the presence of air conditioning, not all rooms were equipped with Air Conditioning |

View of lake heavenly. Room exceeded our expectations. Restaurant staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel is ideally situated for the city, lake and mountainside. Did not like the charge for parking. Price of room is high enough for it to be included. |

Great, great multi-lingual staff that were earnest in their desire to help with questions and local insights. The views were great! We were hoping for Air C. for the price and found that some AC existed in the literature, but we did not seem to find or feel any. Like most hotels in Europe, the rooms are small and they seem to overlook that shorter stay clientele that do not want to unpack the whole suitcase such that it ends up next to the nightstand which undermines the enjoyment of the much limited space. |

Les chambres étaient prêtes à notre arrivée et le personnel était avenant. La situation sur le bord du lac est exceptionnelle. Le rapport qualité/prix est mauvais. Bien qu'ayant demandé une chambre non-fumeur, elle sentait fortement la fumée. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas correctement et le service de maison nous a promis d'y remédier mais rien n'a été fait. |
