Clean nice new rooms, very helpful staff, nice breakfast, perfect location just next to the old bridge. No view of the river. but for that price its ok. who needs a view anyway. |

The location is perfect The bed is not comfortable and too small..they should put king size bed in the double rooms. |

The hotel has a good location just between the Chapple bridge and the railway station. It's very convient for us for taking trains to travel around. The bed is too small. |

location While i was in the room in the morning, there was someone knock on the door and open the door. I think that must be housekeeping staff but he/she did say anything before open the door. This is not really good manner and not professional as 4 stars hotel staff. |

Price, location, comfort, breakfast. Hotel staff did not tend to broken, missing items in my room, at all, during my stay. Not good as far as service is concerned. |

The hotel is very well located. We did not have to spend a single franc for travelling in Luzern. Absolutely everything is within walking distance of a few minutes. The hotel is across the street from the train station, which is very helpful since you have to lug your own bags in Europe. The bus station, the ferry pier are similarly a couple of minutes away. The best restaurants near the chapel bridge, the car free old tow are just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are newly refurbished, big bathrooms and are maintained spotlessly clean. The breakfast is varied & pretty extensive. We did not have to repeat a single dish over the three days we stayed. The chf 10 discount card per person at the restaurant for dinner was a very nich touch. |

Good location just 2 mins walk from the train station , hotel staff was helpful , room was nice and clean . Breakfast buffet was good. Had a good time there. |

The Location is great, just a few steps to the Train Station and the Old City is just across the lake. The price for a double room is very reasonable (for a place like Switzerland), and the food in the Brasserie is great and fairly-priced. The staff is so friendly and helpful! The negative reviews are not fair to this hotel...Air-conditioning in summer is a definite plus and worked well. Luzern is a lovely city, but the hotel unfortunately has no view of the lake. Also the twin beds put together (to make a double bed) has a gap in the middle, and the mattress and pillows are not firm so thus not very comfortable. They should purchase REAL double or queen-sized beds and this would make the hotel just perfect! |

Excellent location within walking distance of most of the major sights in Luzern. Room was small and shabby. Definitely not the 4-star it claims to be. We had requested a Delux room with a rollaway bed. The hotel did manage to deliver, but it was a tight squeeze! The end of the bedframe of the rollaway had to be forced under the side table of the main bed and the 2 chairs in the room removed in order to fit it in. We managed for 1 night, but would not have been comfortable for any more than that. Quality of furnishings was also very basic and a bit worn around the edges. |

Excellent location to train station as well as old town. Newly furnished. Air-conditioned. Good breakfast. They have an augmented service for you to choose the kind of pillow! The bristo serves good value dinner too. A service request card was given when we check in. One request was "hot water kettle". We phone reception accordingly and the reply was "was it a hot water kettle?" |

Location was excellent. Room was clean, comfortable and new. Breakfast spread was good. Love it! The pillows were extremely flat. Though we were offered to choose our pillows, we did not bother to do so. |
