The hotel is the most authentic ever! Stunning old wood building and rooms, and a beatifull terras with old trees for shadow. The host was very kind, and the food was fantastic. At the same time it was with a very modern bathroom, and they even have a 22kW charger for electric cars (and solar cells).

This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful mountain village. Wooden chalet style, nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. Great breakfast with fresh local products. I am definitely coming back.

We stayed there for one night to extend our ski holiday and be able to ski in Lauchernalp, too. It is a charming traditional old house; we booked a room with shared bathroom because that was the only one available for our date in the main ski season. We did not have high expectations but enjoyed our stay very much. It was kind of a mountain hut feeling with a lot more comfort. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and had soap, shampoo available and there was a bathrobe in our room as well. The owners were extremely nice and accommodated all our wishes. The hotel has a restaurant and we had fondue from the ala cart menu for dinner, which was excellent, but I wish I booked half board because the 5-course dinner the cook served for another group looked amazing. I am happy to return to this small hotel when I am back in the "magic valley" next time, which is an outdoor paradise with lots of traditions.

Lovely place, super clean, excellent vibe and location, great breakfast and friendly owners/staff. Herbert, the chef, was such a smiley guy and very attentive. Just what we were looking for with a traditional wooden house in a beautiful valley with access to the mountains. Also a museum in the old part of town that we were sad we missed. Interesting history in town too.

Old fashioned but very comfortable, clean and welcoming. (At least half the price of anywhere else, so don’t expect modern luxuries). Breakfast was excellent and plentiful: local cheeses, homemade jam, friendly service.

Idyllic location, very friendly and hospitable owners, excellent cheese fondue. I highly recommend it if you want to experience domesticity and authenticity. A house is small museum.

One of my favourite places in a long time - feels like home from the moment you enter. Not luxury, just wooden, warm and welcoming. My room shared toilet and bathroom, but I never had to wait. The staff were wonderful and it was a bonus to be able to eat or drink the restaurant if and when one feels like it. I can't recommend it enough...
