This newly renovated hotel is located in Blatten-Belalp at Naters/Brig dates back to the pioneer’s time. It is situated directly beside the cable railway and offers its own parking.

Close by is the bus-stop to ' Blatten ' and the valley station of the Blatten Belalp with its aerial cable-way which connects to the ski and hiking areas on the beautiful Belalp.

The hotel offers well equipped rooms which are comfortable and modern in design. The hotel also has a Wellness area with Sauna, dampfbad, experience showers, Whirlpool (extra charge fee) and couch with a relaxing space that boasts a beautiful view of the old Walliser village, Blatten. Guests have free admission to the Wellness area.

With a bistro, a pizzeria, 2 dining rooms and a sun terrace with a beautiful view of the historic village of Blatten, the Blattnerhof offers something for everyone. All dining rooms are non-smoking.

Our varied cuisine offers local specialities (cheese dishes, Rösti, lamb meat), Italian dishes and international cuisine. The wine list offers a large selection of local and Italian wines.

There is also a special children's menu, and high chairs are available.

In summer, our restaurants are closed on Mondays. There are 2 other restaurants in Blatten.

Room information

We offer 38 rooms on 3 levels. All rooms are en suite and equipped with all common facilities. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Area information

Blatten is located on the foot of the 23 km long Aletsch glacier, the longest glacier of Europe. It is the ideal base for skiing, hiking and exploring the Unesco world heritage mountains Jungfrau/Aletsch/Bietschhorn or go on a ride on the glacier express. Zermatt, Chamonix, Montreux and Stresa are ideal destinations for day trips.

comfortable large room for three persons. excellent beds, very modern bathroom in the new wing.

note that monday is restday in the hotel and you can only check in after 5 pm

Freundliche Mitarbeiter und schönes, ruhiges Zimmer

Ich habe ihm Bad keinen Lichtschalter gefunden für das Löschen des Oberlichts, ich habe dann den gesamten Stromanschluss via Schlüssel unterbrochen. Der Sensor scheint defekt zu sein.

Das Zimmer, die Sauberkeit und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sowie die Gastfreundschaft

Die Reception machte einen unaufgeräumten Eindruck, was für den Rest des Hotels zum Glück überhaupt nicht zutraf.

De ligging van het hotel t.o.v. de skilift is prima. Heel fijn dat er drie persoons kamers waren. Het bedienend personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Jammer dat er bijv. geen radio of weksysteem aanwezig was. Het is ook wel makkelijk als er evt. koffie/thee mogelijkheden waren op de kamer. Zeker als je de hele dag in de bergen was.
