Hotel Blume / El Azteca  

Location was the only positive factor but then every hotel in Interlaken is closeby Metro station as Interlaken is a very small place.

No Lift so carry your luggage through the clumsy stairs. Room was terrible. There was a washbasin right in front of the bed instead being in the washroom. Terrible sight. We don't say it should be a luxurious room but at least a normal room with proper settings. Breakfast is very boring, no egg also. Atleast boiled eggs could have helped. Room used to shake also at times. I think very old building or close to station. And price is not that cheap compared to other 2 star hotels. Overall dis satisfactory.

A small family run place with a friendly helpful owner, always ready to provide tips for travelers, a small conversation and a pleasant smile. They have a good Mexican restaurant to go with it. I think we got what we paid for.

I prefer not to have washing sinks in the room. A bath should be complete and self contained.

Great location. Friendly staff. Very clean hotel in a central location. Free internet and free parking. Rooms small but clean and cosy.

Car parking is around 200yds away just off a main road.

The hotel had a great character and it was very convenient to get there and get around town. Remember to ask for a card to travel for free with buses around town.

It did not have an elevator, so if you have heavy bags, ask for a lower room.

For Interlaken which seemed insanely expensive our budget only allowed for shared facilities. It was actually nicer than I imagined- clean and simple and the breakfast was better than expected. Fairly quiet and good location.

Free parking is not right at the hotel. It's not far away, about a block but the hotel being in a pedestrian zone and this not being clear made it a little harder to check in.

Great value for the money. Convenient to everything, staff very friendly.

The Staff was very courteous and helpful. Also, it was not very far from Interlaken West railway station. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was good.

Cost of the hotel seemed to be on the higher side, as revealed from the experience of other travellers. The hotel is very cramped. While size of the rooms may not be a big thing, its layout is not like a hotel. One has to move between the floors for using the shared toilet and shower. I was not told that even the toilet has to be shared. There is no lift in the hotel and it was tiring to move luggage. I somehow felt suffociated. Otherwise hotel is ok for short stay.

Excellent staff and ready to help for any information you need. There is no limit on the help. They will go beyond your need. Special thanks to lady who serves us the breakfast, sorry I didn't ask her name.

Clean, friendly, cozy room, free-wifi, breakfast, location .. everything was good. I will stay there again when I visit Interlaken.

We couldn't quite believe that this was only a 2 star hotel - the facilities were great and bedroom / ensuite quite modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location in centre of town.

Excellent attentive service & warm atmosphere. The Al Azteca served excellent freshly prepared authentic mexican food with reasonable prices.
