Hotel Blume / El Azteca

The cosy, family-run Hotel Blume with its South-American restaurant offers you reasonably priced and tastefully decorated rooms in Interlaken's pedestrianized Jungfraustraße.

Some of the rooms have a beautiful balcony, which is decorated with wonderful geraniums in summer. Since the hotel is in the centre of the pedestrian zone, you will certainly not wake up because of traffic noise. For very sensitive ears, there is also an extremely calm room with views on the backyard.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

If you are a biker, do not hesitate to talk to Polo Rosas, who is a passionate mountain biker would be very pleased to take you with him and show you the best tracks. Many more adventurous activities (rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping, paragliding) can be booked at the reception.

The El Azteka restaurant is a real Mexican speciality restaurant with around 20 seats and 10 bar seats. During summer there are an additional 20 seats available on the charming terrace. Apart from the menu there are 5 good-value 2-course lunches, 1 Mexican and 4 international-cuisine set menus available from 12:00 to 14:00.

In the evenings only Mexican dishes such as Enchiladas, Pollo en Mole, Cochinita Pibil, Fajitas etc. are served à la carte. Friday and Saturday nights you can enjoy a live Mexican music band.

Also a big variety of Tequilas is served.

Area information

From Wildersil you can take the nostalgic rack railway to the plateau of Schynige. From there you can enjoy an amazing view, and it is also a great place for walking.

Travel information

By Car:
Exit Interlaken West / At the first crossing drive to your left, direction Center / all straight /after the second round about (Post Office, Loeb) again straight on, approx 20 m / then take the first street to your right and you will see the hotel from the bottom of the street. Be careful! This street is a pedestrian street but you are allowed to drive until the hotel.

You can then unload your car and we will show you, where to park, when you get here.

By Public Transport:
Train station Interlaken West:
Go left, direction center. After the roundabout (post office, Loeb) go straight again and take the first street to your right (corner Hotel Weisses Kreuz). You will see the hotel after approx. 20 m on the right hand side. (5 min. on foot).

Station Interlaken East (Ost):
Go right, direction center. After Hotel Metropolo (highest building in Interlaken) take the first street to your left (corner Hotel Weisses Kreuz). You will see the hotel after approx. 20 m on the right hand side. (10-15 min. on foot)
