View from bedroom window, decorative features of historic hotel, helpful staff (including the cleaning lady), very high quality of attached restaurant food and friendly staff (especially to English-only speakers!) No refrigeration facility in rooms, lack of security from front balcony access because of access through doors available to adjoining rooms |

The room was very clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable, and had amazing views from the balcony. The owners were very nice, as was the restaurant staff. No internet access in the chalet. However, it was available in the main hotel, and the connection was reliable and speedy. |

The location, the breakfast, the availability of the owners to answer all questions about the hiking trails, good value for the money. No phone, no TV in the challet, uncomfortable bed. |

The clean well planned room in the chalet annex with marvellous view of the Eiger Monch and Jungfrau from the balcony. Also the meal on our first night was excellent. Also excellent breakfasts on both days.Door to door skiing in a lovely village. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in our room. The meal on our second night was satisfactory but not of the same standard as the first night possibly because they were much busier. |

The view from the chalet was beautiful! The room was brand new and seperate from the hotel, giving a secluded, exclusive feel to our stay. All the hotel ammenities were available for our use and breakfast was served every morning in the main hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel location was central to all activities and transportation options in Murren. The room in the chalet didn't have a phone or television. However, there was a phone and television available in the main hotel. We didn't need these ammenities in the room but others might. |

The room I stayed was the small chalet behind the hotel, it's a very nice and new room which was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good as well as the service. A kettle should be provided in the room as the days I stayed there were freezing and I just wanted to have some hot drinks after I retured to the room from outside. |

The hotel offers great views of the Bernese Oberland, especially the Eiger, Monch and Jungfau, which towers over the mountain village of Muerren. The Grotto Restaurant is excellent, and a buffet breakfast is included in the hotel price. The Blumental Hotel is just steps away from skiing paths, lifts and wanderwegs. The fresh mountain air, location and fantastic views were fabulous. We wish we could stay longer. |

The old character and charm. A reading lamp would greatly improve the comfort of the room. |

Great experience! The staff graciously kept the kitchen open for us to start dinner at 9:00pm, when the kitchen usually closed! They genuinely appeared to care about our comfort and happiness during our stay. Very nice room away from the rest of the guests as we were meeting with friends and were noisy. Plenty of hot water (we had a huge tub in the room!) and fairly comfortable beds. No telephone in the room which made it difficult to reach our friends as we were late arriving to Murren. The staff walked a phone to their room for us though, which was quite nice. No alarm clock and typical European feather pillows both of which I dislike but are European standards. All very minor complaints which didn't impact a great hotel and a lovely stay. Try the fondue! |

We liked the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help and ask questions. The cleanliness of We stayed in the Chalet behind the hotel which was fresh and new. The hotel itself is characterful and charming but could benefit from a little freshening up. |

Situated in the car-free panorama resort of Mürren in the Bernese Oberland, this cosy hotel in Swiss chalet style offers wonderful views of the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau mountains. |
The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. |
The Hotel Eiger has been owned and managed by our family since it was built in 1886. It has been extended, completely renovated and at the same time upgraded. |
Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a mile above sea level, you can find the Hotel Regina on a slope across from the spectacular Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. |
