Best Western Hotel Montana

excelente ubicacón, a 300 metros de la estación ppal. de trenes. El hotel tiene un hall e instalaciones muy sencillas, pero por el precio de cien euros noche es excelente, buen porte de habitación, baño limpio y moderno, con desayuno incluido. Ideal para una o dos noches por negocios. No tuve ocasión de probar internet wi fi.

Cercania a la estacion de trenes, bien conectado con los transportes, solo unos minutos a pie del centro. Diseno de partes comunes agradables, limpio.

Las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado, los ventiladores se habian agotado asi que nos toco dormir con la ventana abierta. Habia un poco de ruido pero era soportable. La gente de la recepcion no sonreia, pero daban la informacion necesaria. El restaurante es caro.

Since the hotel was near to the train station and I was arriving at 6:30am for a job interview at 4PM I asked for the first available room. Even though they had agreed over the phone that I could take a room as soon as it became available, when I arrived the girl at the desk was adamant that the room would only be available either at check-in (2pm) or earliest at possible 11AM and said, good-bye. Didn't even offer me breakfast which was included in the reservation (I wasn't staying over night so I wouldn't use my breakfast the next day). After walking around the city for over 2 hours and waiting in the lobby from 9-9:40 they told me a room had finally come available after I complained. The room's curtains were hideous btw.

The Hotel is very close to Zurich HB (main railway station), and the tour bus departure point, so it made getting around very easy. The room was small, but well laid out. The room had recently been redecorated so it was very nice and modern. The buffet breakfast was very good, and had a good selection of hot and cold food. A good value hotel in an expensive city! I also enjoyed a very delicious evening meal in the hotel's restaurant.

Pillows in Swiss hotels (not just this one!) are very large, rectangular and flat. If you are used to having a nice thick pillow, you might find them uncomfortable. There also wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room (but the information brochure said that staff would happily supply free hot drinks on request).

The hotel is near the main train station and not far from the city center.

Proximity to the railway station and the city, close to everything. Comfortable, reasonably priced, good value for money. The breakfast was very good too.

We can't think of anything we didn't like. We were happy to stay there and would book again
