The recently renovated BW Hotel Montana is located at only 3 minutes from the main railway station in the heart of downtown Zurich. The French bistro 'Le Lyonnais' offers traditional Alsatian cuisine and 'plat de jour' lunches at CHF 25 for a 3 course meal.

29 of our 74 rooms combine French flair with present-day elegance. The other 45 have been recently renovated and feature modern designed business and leisure rooms with parquet floors. All rooms have public wireless-LAN, satellite and pay TV, minibar and a safe.

Hotel team is very friendly and attentive.

This hotel is excellent but is located near a prostitution and narcotraffic (hard drugs) zone.

The location was excellent - very close to the main station and a major
tram stop, yet in a quiet street without too much traffic or noise from
other establishments. The breakfast was sufficent re choice and the
restaurant a pleasant envirinment. The room was clean, light and airy.
The bathroom was tiled, with a bath and shower and very clean.

No English speaking channels on tv except cnn. Luckily I speak French so
could watch those channels

The room was clean, the bathroom very nice and modern. Wooden floor in the room was beautiful. The glass elevator was great. Very close to the main train station.

A bit strange was the sliding door that you were unable to lock. The choice of bread at breakfast was a bit disappoining. The fact that they had the scrambled eggs and meat under the same heat retaining thing did put me off to eat scrambled eggs as I'm a vegetarian. Some of the margerine were rancid.

The room was very clean and super modern furnished. The room staff was very helpful. Fine breakfast.

The environment of the hotel is not so good for a family (there is an erotic club and a drug store very near by), and It is a bit un-pleasant walking there when it is dark. The room is a bit small.

Booked deluxe room good space plus a bath

Only 1 small problem my room safe was locked out with my belongings in for 8 hours. Room service tried but no avail. Must have had a time delay lock but it opened before I or the hotel resorted to any other means.
