Nice breakfast!!!

Veeeery expensive! But it's Switzerland...

Delightful lakeside position. Excellent restaurant service. Comfortable and spacious bedroom.

Location is excellent. Just across the road from Lac Brienz. Our children always requested to have a picnic dinner by the lake every night. The view is just incredible. The Alps completely surrounds the lake. Our rooms were lovely. We had the attic room with an incredible view of the lake and the church tower next door. Parking was great and safe. The staff were excellent. The rooms are very clean.

The restaurant is not great. We had a beef patty and salad for dinner on their National Day. It tasted awful, and the salad was completely submerged in awful dressing, just like the one from a bottle. And this was supposed to be a special night for them. It was expensive and none of us finished our salad. So eat elsewhere, better still, have a picnic by the lake, so much memorable, and much cheaper.

A friendly small village atmosphere. Excellent receptionist/concierge.

Room safe was almost inaccesible and unreadible.

- Breakfast is available from 7:45 at terrace seat face to lake. - Free car parking space. - Near from Brunngasse- beautiful woodenhouse

- The building is old and room/equipment is small. - The location is far from center of the Brienz city. - There are 2 buildings and the one building is not lake-view at all. - The inside of builing smells of restaulant, a little bit oily.

Très belle chambre, vue sur le lac, situation géographique, accès pratique, personnel sympathique et efficace, sauf le réceptionniste qui m'a fait perdre du temps (voir plus bas).

Perdu 15 minutes au moment de payer : une erreur de facturation de la part de l'hôtel, suivie de leur incapacité à trouver rapidement ma réservation (j'ai dû aller la chercher dans ma voiture pour prouver ma bonne foi), suivie d'un appel interminable du réceptionniste avec un client, alors que j'attendais avec ma carte bleue à la main. Dommage de terminer sur cette fausse note : tout s'était bien passé jusque là.

Ein kleines typisch ländliches Hotel das ideal in diese Gegend passt. Ein heimeliges herziges Zimmer mit allem was es braucht. Das Hotel hat eine feine Küche und ein hübsches Restaurant.
