Fantastic view ,friendly staff

The location was simply superb! The view outside the room was too good to be true. The rooms were very spacious and nice, they actually look a lot better than the pictures shown in booking.com. They were aware that we are honeymooners and arranged to decorate the room in a lovely way using artificial petals and heart-shaped chocolates on the bed with no extra cost. They had the best service in terms of contacting us by email personally confirming our booking and providing the booking number. Also, they managed to let us know that the room we initially booked was not a lake view room and advised us that there was 1 room only available in which we booked immediately after this communication. Moreover, 12 hours before checking-in, we had sent the hotel an email requesting to know how to get there from the train station, the response came early in the morning with the exact directions in terms of the bus number to take and which turns to make.. This is really excellent customer service!

There was no sense of security and comfort in which the hotel literally closes at 9pm sharp and there is no one sitting in the lobby after that time. We have asked for a contact in the hotel in case of any emergency in the middle of the night and we got the following response "you have anything, say it before 9. Any emergency or query after 9 will have to wait until the next morning" which was frankly shocking to us.

The staff and the manager of the hotel helped us a lot, they were very friendly and helpfull. They offered us special room for the same price for our honeymoon. The location was very nice for the people who have cars 7 mintues to interlaken ost main station and behanhof street. I thought i have seen bus station near hotel and by the way hotel gave us bus cards for free.

Rooms size was small for family , you need car to go to interlaken , no one to help in carrying bags ,

The lake view was great and the breakfast was good

There are no a/c in the hotel. Even though the temp. Outside is low , the room is too warm

Excellent hotel with perfect location and nice staff

We really enjoyed our hostess and our conversations at the lovely bar and lobby area. A computer in the lobby was available for our use. The views from the hotel are spectacular. The breakfasts were good.

We had a very small room which was not facing the lake. The train passed close by at night and was noisy. The room was very simply appointed. I wish we had spent the extra money for a lake facing room which I think would have been much better. The hotel is outside of Interlaken so there is only one restaurant within walking distance.

The hallway smelled a little like cigarette smoke, but wasn't at all bothersome to the room itself

The view of the lake was wonderful, the room was very well furnished, new furniture, comfortable bed, hair drier, safe. The staff was always pleasant and well informed, they gave us very useful advice (where to buy a camera cable for instance, where to go for a day out on the lake shores, how to plan some day trips, etc). We had a very active holiday and we've moved a lot in the whole area, the hotel was well placed for what we wanted and you'll be able to do day trips either to Jungfrau, the lakes, Brienz village museum, Schilthorn or go paragliding. It was an amazing stay and we would highly recommend it, and we hope to be able to return there as soon as possible.
