Location.

The front desk service was really poor and unprofessional. There was a problem with the cleanliness of our room, we talked to the receptionist about it expecting she would make something to solve the problem, the only thing she did is she changed us to a smaller and way less comfortable room for the same price.

We liked everything about our stay. The view from our room was exquisite. The room was nicely furnished and comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The location was perfect. Transport was provided from the rail station. The common areas were welcoming. We were very satisfied with this hotel.

Absolutely nothing--it was perfect.

There is a lack of communication betwen hotel bristol zermatt switzerland and booking.com. Because some of the charges like extra bed were duplicated on our invoices and corrected after our warnings. ALSO THE LIQUID SOAP WAS NOT MEET WITH HOTEL STANDARD

The welcome from the reception was very good. I was well looked after and the food was very good

It was a good clean and well managed hotel. Good welcome and Friendly service. the Sauna and Jacussi were most welcome after a days skiing. Staff were very friendly. overall a good experience.

Hotel location is very nice, close to the bridge in which we can see Matterhorn (but depends on the weather for sure). Good food for breakfast. Room is big and clean.

The way to go to the hotel is about 10-15 minutes. Since the way is going up, it's quite tiring :) If you don't want, you can use a 'taxi' :)

This is a family-owned hotel with a sincere commitment by the owners to their clients. We decided to visit Zermatt over the New Year week-end. The Bristol was already full for the night of the 31st but the owner made the effort to find us an alternative hotel in the same price range and facilitated our transfer to it. The room we slept in was small but well equipped, especially the bathroom which had been recently renovated. The bar had a warm and friendly atmosphere and was frequented by the guests. The dining room was straightforward but the food and service was good.

The boot room for ski and boot storage was rather small.

Friendly staff, nice location. The hotel room has a great view of Matterhorn.

Perfect location and everything one needs under one roof for a skiing trip ( with a rental shop and ski and boot room under the hotel. Free wifi was a bonus.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

One room ( on the third floor ) was very warm , despite both radiators being turned off ,The other ( on first floor ) was fine

Great staff, great food, great skiing!

It was available for the night I needed and was close to the centre of Zermatt, next door to a grocery store. Empty mini-frig in room. Arrived early, but staff very obliging about letting me leave bags at reception. Same on departure. Duvet was lovely. The view of the Matterhorn was awesome. Staff understanding about not charging for wine that was too sour to drink. Complimentary taxi service to the train station very much appreciated.

My mistake was to mix up the name Bristol with another far better class hotel, for which the special offer would have been extremely tempting. Would probably not have chosen the Bristol had I realised. It was not ideally located for my purposes, as I came to see a friend living down behind the train station, nor did it offer the special touches I had hoped, naively, to find. Instead, it was a fairly cheap construction, with a fairly unattractive lounge and music, while the room on offer - very basic - was just over a particularly busy traffic corner. Although it may be convenient during the ski season for access to lifts, I was there off-season, and the taxis and buses and delivery vans were a constant presence. In fact, the bus stop was just outside the door. An area for food and drink, but not for the idyllic quiet some people seek in a mountain resort. Pity too that the bar was so poorly stocked that the wine was undrinkable.
