Very comfortable hotel.

The room was fine, everything in the hotel seemed new. The view from the room towards matterhorn was fantastic and a smart detail: the blinds in the windows were placed at the bottom of the window, so when drawn you could leave a space for looking af Matterhorn.

Actually nothing - the staff was very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was fine.

Expensive for a basic hotel and breakfast.

All around great value. The hotel is really nice and worth every penny. It was great to come back from a day on the mountain and be able to relax at the sauna. The bedrooms are impeccable with a beatiful view of Matterhorn as A bonus. Ski bus stops right across the street and the ski shop next door offers 20% discount on rentals for guests. What else can you ask for ?

It is a bit of a walk from the train station but it's okay. Zermatt isn't that big.

No hot water for showering!

Extremely friendly staff. We stayed just for one night. On the day of departure we were able to leave all our luggage in the basement next to the ski room, so that we could ski all day. At the end of the day, even though we had checked out we were able to use the spa and shower facilities, before heading home - perfect !

The front desk staff were exceptional! They made the stay effortless and enjoyable! The location for skiers is amazing! The view and accommodations again far out did our expectations!

Great location - very well run hotel. Wonderful view of the Matterhorn. Very good breakfast. Very good and very convenient ski room. Comfortable beds, very good bathroom with walk in shower.

Quite expensive for what you get but then it's no different than other Zermatt hotels in the ski season.

Awesome hotel. Owner is hands on and very nice. Made a great ski trip even better. Hotel was renovated 2 years ago, everything is new and well thought out. Huge ski room with direct access from the street is a nice touch. Close to many restaurants and buses to get to the ski lifts. Recommended!!!!

The location, ski in Sunnegga area you can go back directly to the hotel The room for family is big, 4 beds. Breakfast included Dogs are allowed You can buy the ski tickets there Jacuzzi

The Breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly.

I was staying 5th Floor and wifi does not work there and it is offered in the website as a service. I booked the hotel to enjoy spa/wellness after a day of ski and I realized that it is closed at 7:00 pm; I was very unhappy because of that because is too early. It would be nice to go to the wellness until 10:00 pm.

Best location , you can go walking to both Rothorn and Matterhorn lifts. Delicious breakfast. Very nice room to mountain view. Great staff!

WiFi didn't work in the room, only at the Lobby. Because of the night pubs, the rooms to mountain view must have the window closed.

Highly recommend this motel and will definately stay again!!! Everything about it was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and very clean, the breakfast was delish, location is very convenient to everything. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a great location! I loved waking up in the morning and opening my balcony door to see the Matterhorn right in front!

The night we checked in they had us in a smaller room than they had confirmed by email but immediately put us in the right room the next morning! They bent over backward to assist us in getting our luggage from Fly-Rail-Baggage Swiss Rail making a total of 3 trips to the train station on our behalf and making phone calls even though it was in no way their issue. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was quite good and more than a typical European continental breakfast. Very "quaint"...pleasant to sat at the bar tended by the reception staff later in the evening for a last glass of wine after going out for dinner before bed! Lovely living room-type "lobby" to sit and read, play cards, chat with other guests.

The rooms were a bit smaller than most Americans might be used to and the bathrooms didn't have enough towel bars but experienced travelers to Europe will understand and expect this and new travelers just need to be prepared...it is not a showstopper!

The staff are helpful and friendly, the location is fantastic, the spa and sauna are great facilities.

The rooms all vary in size and extras. We moved rooms and the new room had a kettle, docking station and was a lot bigger for the same price.

Bathroom very nice but cramped. Quite noisy at night (our room was at the top of the stairs above the bar).

Outstanding hotel. Francis and the entire staff were very helpful & accommodating. Arranged lunch and dinner reservations & made great suggestions! Excellent location between ski area access points on ski bus route & near shopping/restaurants/bars. Beautiful views from hotel! Outstanding half board dinners--at excellent value. Would highly recommend!!

Spectacular Matterhorn view from bed in the morning. Hotel taxi waiting for us at the station even though we did not request this. Very friendly helpful receptionists (2) and waitresses (2) who, between them, speak at least 8 languages fluently. Generally very quiet (although not on Saturday night) with snow around and only electric vehicles permitted in neighbourhood.

Although sub-zero outside, our bedroom was uncomfortably hot as we were unable to turn the bathroom radiator off, so we left the balcony door open a little. However, our last night was a Saturday and there was noise until 2am in the street below from revellers walking home after an apres-ski party. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. I will not stay anywhere else if we go back. They had room so upgraded us to the Matterhorn view without us even inquiring. They really know how to make guests feel welcomed and at home!!! The ski room in the basement is incredibly convenient with boot dryers, too!

The area is pricey.
