Great location, great breakfast, modern accomodations.

We booked a 4-person suite and discovered that this was just a room with two small beds pushed together and an uncomfortable fold-out couch for two to share. I would have expected four separate beds.

We loved the location of the hotel and the view of the Matterhorn with balcony and chairs outside. The bathroom was new and modern and very clean. There was a fridge in the room. Spa facilities. The breakfast was great, nice and varied, especially loved the pancake maker! :o) Very friendly staff and loved the free bus shuttle service. Nice lobby and bar area.

The furniture in the room could do with updating. Otherwise we loved our stay and will definately recommend and return in the future!

The family room was spacious and lovely with modern and very clean decor. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We loved the large sitting area in the lobby where we could meet the rest of our group and visit. Our breakfast was included in the the room rate. It was the most extensive breakfast we've experienced during our 2-year of living/traveling in Europe. We loved this hotel!!

location was ace. for skiiers to have the ski bus so near was a bonus. The hotel is in the centre admist restaurants, supermarket and bakery and overlooks the river. A comfortable hotel with BBC entertainment on Tv which was good.

pretty much the same cooked breakfast each day, a tad boring since we stayed 7 days, but good selection of bread

The price was excessive for the standard of hotel, but I think this reflected the area of Zermatt which is expensive.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bristol. The owner made us feel so welcome and always had a friendly greeting whenever we saw him. The breakfast was decadent and abundant; you could even make your own pancakes if you wanted to. The room was huge, with a modern shower and a delightful balcony overlooking the Alps. The hotel had thought of everything, including robes in the rooms to wear to go to the jacuzzi and sauna (which were so relaxing at the end of a day of skiing), a mini fridge which you could use for your own drinks or they could stock it on request, and even a cell phone charging station. We loved the little chocolates at the front desk too! We're definately going back one day; either in the winter to ski or the summer to hike. Zermatt is really a super place to visit, and we loved the 'no cars'.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast, across the street from the ski lift bus, ski rentals at the hotel, pick up from train station, free internet, wet and dry sauna and hot tub. Can book other than Saturday to Saturday. Half board available. Good value for set dinners.

Room was very small and compact for 2 adults and a 7 year old. Very small closet. No room to unpack your clothes. No view from my room.

There is a lack of communication betwen hotel bristol zermatt switzerland and booking.com. Because some of the charges like extra bed were duplicated on our invoices and corrected after our warnings. ALSO THE LIQUID SOAP WAS NOT MEET WITH HOTEL STANDARD

The welcome from the reception was very good. I was well looked after and the food was very good

Great location very nice staff

Hotel location is very nice, close to the bridge in which we can see Matterhorn (but depends on the weather for sure). Good food for breakfast. Room is big and clean.

The way to go to the hotel is about 10-15 minutes. Since the way is going up, it's quite tiring :) If you don't want, you can use a 'taxi' :)

The staff are really superb and the mountain view rooms are wonderful.

The first night I was in a room overlooking the street and the soundproofing was very inadequate given there are two bars directly across from the windows on both sides. It was also impossible to turn down the heating and the room was excessively warm.

Beautiful rooms, lovely view and the receptionist who attended to us when we checked out was very friendly.

Heater too hot. Beds to soft. Should change to hard bed so that guest with back problems can have a good rest.
